Emeka Okafor - what for?

Misterearl, please pass me some of that stuff you're drinking. Is that 151?

BTW, I just want to say that while it's good to have purely tough players, it's also important to have the skill players as well. After all, it is a game of basketball we're playing. That's why I added the Kevin Martins of the world on that list. I think on this team, he'd be very underlooked, kinda like how Houston was BEFORE the contract.

So some additional players who I think would fit well in a team system, that have toughness, or good skill on either end, or both...

Raja Bell
Leondro Barbosa
Bruce Bowen
Reggie Evans
Kevin Martin
Andre Iguadola
Shane Battier
Boris Diaw
Keeyon Dooling
Jason Kapono
Andrew Bynum

Richard Jefferson TMS - I'm shocked

why? i hate the guy, but the way he plays the game, he plays it hard & with heart... he fits the style of game Eny was talking about.

I was shocked because I know how much you disslike him. But I see you choose to be very objective.

reggie evans
zo
okafor
kenyon martin
monta ellis
jermaine oneal
haslem
wade
ray allen
artest
pj brown
all of the bulls

etc, etc.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

yeah, as much as it would pain me to see a guy i hate in a Knicks uniform, if he played his heart out i'd have to respect him.

Ohhh, Haslem, I forgot about him. Good one. I'd love to have him here. Anderson Varejio too.

Tms- did you seriously say all the superstars fit the mold? Not all the superstars know what they are doing. The recent Olympic teams prove that.

Anyway, only guy you mentioned that represents NY basketball to me is Josh Howard. He's just relentless and it seems he gets tougher as the game gets tougher. Dude just knows what he is supposed to be doing at all times. I love that mutha.

Now I'm a stickler for point guards. TJ ford is a stupid mofo. Yeah he is talented but I don't like him as my point guard. Chris Paul is all world. I like Watson a lot. Watson is just a tough mofo. He does what he is supposed to. He developed a 3pt shot and he is quick and strong on both sides of the ball. Delonte west is another one I like.

I like guys that respect the game. I don't see that in players like chancey billups. Chancey has won and hit big shots but to me he just doesn't carry himself like he respects the game. His boy rip is a student of the game and he takes the game a little too serious, lol.

K-mart is definately a Knick. He knows how to play but his knees couldn't hold up. Too bad though cuz he was a good one.

Boozer would make a good knick too. He has proven that he respects the game and knows how to play his position.

If could build a good team from scrap with out making the MSG Yankees it would look something like this:
PG Billups
SG Raja Bell
SF Nocioni
PF Marcus Camby
C Brad Miller
Bench: David Lee, Speedy Claxton, Shane Battier

Coach: Pat Riley

Maybe they dont win a title, but I would to see those Knicks grind it out every night

Nice team fishmike, but I say it needs a go to guy, I'd replace Bell with Kevin Martin, and maybe replace Brad Miller with a Bogut.

Absolutely not.

Oh, I'm sorry. I forgo Kobe doesn't play NY basketball because he actually gets things done.

There's not one person in the NBA who works harder, and plays with more fire and desire than Kobe.
