David Lee has moves. He uses them all the time. Lee just needs to can that jumper, but that usually comes with experience.

Anyway 14-14? That is impressive even in an all-star game. He was getting it.

The next player to make one step in the direction of David Lee on defense will be the first. Now, I give Lee HUGE props for running the floor and getting inside for position, but none of his shots included any degree of difficulty. Four uncontested layups and ten uncontested dunks.

C'mon...

and I LOVE David Lee

c'mon...

amd now another so-called controversy brews over why he doesn't start?

solace - hater?

who died and made you boss?

The UK Mafia has no credibility to speak of. We each have ONE opinion. None are more valid than the other. Some opinion may be idiotic but that's besides the point. There is no definition for a "hater". Therefore, in my universe it does not exist.

you're right dude, Jerome James has really earned his starting spot. DLee should always be the third big man off the bench, even if he started amongst the most impressive sophomore players in the league and won MVP.

we need that energy off the bench...

crzy - what is the record with James starting? 4-1?

if it ain't broke don't fix it

Vote No to pushing favorite player agendas over the objective of winning games

Vote Yes to pulling for the Knicks as a TEAM.

It's not who starts but who finishes.

Lee has been a finisher.

the record is 3-2.

and we've fallen behind in Jerome James' limited minutes every single game.

it's very very very broken, mr earl.

Lee needs to start, Francis needs to be bought out and I'm sick of seeing Isiah refuse to admit his mistakes (Jerome James, Jared Jefferies, Francis).

oh, hey, on a totally unrelated note - does anyone have that a link to that article about Isiah having shills speak for him online?

Lee is going to bolt the first chance he gets after seeing what it's like to play with unselfish and hard working players. Plus he might actually get to start on another team.

Lee is going to play in an all star game one of these days...as a member of the Orlando Magic or Miami Heat.

I can't blame him. I would bolt as soon as I could too and go to a team trying to win rather than a corporate-run team trying to make quick $$$

well true he had all-star caliber PGs with him. but at the same time there was basically no defense being played besides keeping your man in front of you, so things like possessions and shot attempts were inflated obviously

hmm, I think this would be more likely if Isiah was fired, honestly.

That's true. I watched the first half this morning. But we know from NBA games that Lee is a good scorer. He finishes very strong. And we know he is the kind of player who will work hard each offseason to improve his game.

Here ya go. It's in my favorites.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/02092007/sports/knicks/curry_a_new_member_of_the_thomas_cult_affair_knicks_peter_vecsey.htm

"As the Raptors top basketball executive and as the coach of the Pacers, he coordinated local media blitzes. Friends were asked to call radio talk shows or write letters to editors/on-line/whatever and either condemn negative things circulating about him, or glorify stuff he was doing. Toronto co-workers were ordered to do the same. Indiana management refused to engage in such tawdry tactics."
