Isles, I don't see how YOU have a right to complain. Afterall, according to you, we were supposed to go 2-8 on this stretch and we have 3 wins already.
Posted by islesfan:

And it's certainly not about making pathetic excuses about looking forward to the all star break.

26 teams played tonight in their last game before the all star break. The Knicks are the only ones who didn't show up ready to play.

That total BS and completely inexcusable.

Losing is one thing. Not showing up is something completely different.

misterearl, any thoughts on the matter? You're noticably quiet today.

Marbs did some TV work on his new show and IM sure was exausted!

Maybe he also had a big party at his house in LA?

They had a long stretch off in between games and the back to back thing just kills them.

They did not come to play. They are professional and need to bring it all the time. They get paid for this and get paid like no other team in sports!

As far as the other games, you have blow outs all the time. lets not compare our beloved team to others, its irrelevant.

Nix, I don't read your comments anymore. They are one sided and offer little other than my suspision that your a mole for MSG. Its a thin line between love and hate and Isles hates cuz he cares. He is over the top at times but brings on good points. LIke too much aftershave, the "love" becomes pointless.

A team in first place and contending can get the unbiased homer treatment you like to pour over like syrup on the knicks. 23 wins in this division is still very sad. Our team is worthy of "hate".

We hate because we care.

I have no problem withp layers not playing hard this time.
I have problem with Isiah.
He never show up as a coach this time. Did he in other games?

Also he has no confidence in anyone on the team and the way he treated the players who played well and cares are dsturbing.

He is a jokeas a GM, a stubborn donkey as a coach, and a overal shame as a persone...

So you can call me Isiah hater... and it is nothing to do with Knicks.

Maybe they have a drinking problem and like to celebrate after emotional victories

I think it's more of an eating problem

When Players lack energy after a good victory I always think some guys are hanging out at booty clubs etc.. into the wee hours of the morning and lack the metal and physical energy in the next game.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I don't understand this "tired" excuse. Isiah said it too. This was only their 3rd game in the past 8 days. They had 2 full day's off before this set of back to back games.

Being tired is a pathetic excuse.

definitely dido that

Isiah Disses His PLayers Yet Again

In fact, after the win in Los Angeles, Thomas was still lamenting the overtime loss in Utah on Saturday, when the Knicks blew a 10-point lead with five minutes left in regulation. "I think we should be 2-0 on this trip right now with a lot of momentum," he said. "I'm glad we're at 23. We can get past that. But it says a lot about the guys in the locker room and their commitment and their hard work."

Islesfan - did you say something?

mistearl where does he diss his players, I don't know maybe I took it out of context but he essentially says they should have won the Utah game but he's happy their at the 23 win mark right now or am I just reading it wrong?

Since when is commending players on their commitment and hard work considered to be a diss?!?

Looks like misterearl said a whole lot of nothing.

"Pure Knicks Tough Love" baby.

I don't accept crap and want something better.

You eat that crap up, praise the chef and ask for seconds.

How's that for irony.

Because I was here before Isiah.

Curry is crap. He's a poor man's Glenn Robinson. He's not a winner.

Islesfan - were you here before Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton or "Jumpin'" Johnny Green?

Richie Guerin perhaps?

Dick Van Arsdale?
