Odom was injured and his head might not be totally in the game (remember what happened with his kid this summer). Either way, he was abysmal last night. Might've been his worst game as a Laker.

Oh, well. We broomed the Lakers anyway.

Odom's been playing pretty decently. He's been averaging something like 12 boards over the past 8 outings.

Bonn - located in the same place reserved for people desperately hoping and praying that the Knicks lose
I was just kidding Earl. I enjoy your posts. I'm not hoping the Knicks lose; I'm hoping they get a new owner and do some real rebuilding.

The Knicks are worth $500M and are just a piece of the whole empire. We're stuck with Little Jimmy until he gets bored.

Bonn - a new owner?

...don't hold your breath. The Dolan checkbook is deeper than The Grand Canyon and someone would hafta make them an outrageous offer they can't refuse.

The Knicks have been corporately held for how long?

Individual ownership of the Knicks may be wishful thinking. The monstrous cash reserves of Newscorp and Cablevision pay the freight. That's why I don't spend one iota of a second kvetching over the salary cap.

If I ruled the world I would wave a magic wand and make Bill Bradley Knicks President with Cazzie Russell as General Manager.

But it will never happen.

Marv - Howard and Lebron would clash

Besides, this is not another wet fantasy thread

Even I was impressed last night.

If only we could replace Cato with James to start, we'd be in business.

I didn't say it would ever happen. I don't think it will, which is why I never expect to see a Knick championship team in my lifetime. (And I'm healthy and only 27.) I just said it's what I hope for.

We do have a progress... from last year...
Are you satisfied? I am not.
Team just get back to what it was 3 years back... Great job Isiah.

And about the Lakers win -107-106 coin flip over one man band... Not impressive at all...

wee - todd - ed.

Carry on being willfully ignorant.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Willfully Ignorant

kam77 - great summary of snippy posts like arkrud's that seek to trivialize anything positive about a clutch victory on the road.

A win.

After each and every loss the mobs come out of the woodwork, with pitchforks in hand, ready for someone to blame... or trade.

Notice how quiet it is?

I think IT will probably get the 3yr extention. He has said time that he always wanted to return to coaching and he also mentioned that he could not handle being both GM/President and coach. So my guess is, he will stay on as coach and president and bring in someone or promote the guy we have (grunwale i think) to be the GM of the team. IT will still have input on the roster, but it won't be his primary responsiblity.

No way. Glen Grunwald basically is the GM right now but he still has to answer to Zeke. I assume this is the way it's going to be until a change happens.
