I must say that this loss has left me animated..I tend to be a little even quelled and put wins and losses into perspective..I'm at a loss after this game...
Washington 99-98 loss..Caron Butler uncontested layup at the end...
New Jersey 101-100 loss..Cliff Robinson tip in at the end...
Milwaukee 107-105 loss..Mo Williams shot with .28 seconds left...
Charlotte 104-87 loss..Keep waiting for this team to take the next step..G.Wallace.
Utah 104-102 loss..Just a meltdown in the end..

Utah hurts most because the refs made some horrible calls- the imaginary technical on curry for Okur's 'flop' and the non call on the Derek Fisher foul of Crawford.

one thing about the fisher foul - he committed it like a pro. the ref was behind fisher and crawford, so fisher put his arms straight up while using his body to ever so slightly bump crawford. from the ref's angle, you couldn't really see a foul committed...and that's his call. the other ref was looking in the paint, and the other one was on the other side of the court. it was a sneaky veteran foul fisher committed and i could see why it was missed by the ref.

When I watched the replay Jamal actually pushed off first and than Fischer got under him when he pulled up for the shot. Most refs aren't going to give you that call I honestly I think end of the game situations, unless its completely blantant the refs shouldn't interfer with the outcome "no blood no foul". I certaintely wouldn't give a foul on a jumpshot unless of course the guy's arm was taken off lol.

you trying to make sugarray jump off a cliff?

Notice the separation between Cliff's and Curry's body right where Lee's chin is located. No Box out, No over the back. And how is it that Cliff managed to do this, outjumping Curry amidst his wide load is astonishing?

SugayRay=Let him wallow in his misery

If you saw the play, Curry was actually boxing out Jefferson...I not even sure if he knew Cliff was in the play until he tipped it in the end...

he did push off. and all those games winners when he does that cross over step back, he uses his arm to push off as well. he's not the only one that does it, but he does it none-the-less.

I gotto disagree Bitty, because one of my pet peves is to see a jumpshooter get fouled in the first place. Yeah, get in his face, but you can't fall for pump fakes and you can't try and block the jumpshooters shot. Hand in the face or hands straight up will do just as fine, and it's something that a ton of players in the league don't seem to realize. Players can't get rewarded for stupidity, and the offensive player SHOULD get rewarded for exposing the ignorance.

Hey I agree with you too I consider that a cardinal sin to foul a jumpshooter. If I was a coach and player committed a dumb foul such as fouling a jumpshooter I would probably pull him from the game. But at the end of the game with the player dribbling in the corner taking a fadeaway I just think fouls in end of games should absolutely be blantant especially when that said foul call could change the outcome of the game. If Jamal was going to the basket and got fouled yes thats worthy of a end of the game head to the free-throw line call but fadeaway in the corner he shouldn't be given that call especially considering he could have been called for a offensive foul himself. I know that sounds harsh and unfair but end of the game calls should be earned the hard way not on some forced up jumpshot.
