Listen I could just prove that we don't have a franchise player.......but I won't. Caz it's well known. Marbury isn't (never was). Crawford isn't. Curry isn't (and won't be) And of course, the only thing that'll get you into the post season without a franchise player is awesome defense..........and well, that's just not happening. I mean hey I wouldn't mind great defense/no franchise, but its not in the cards. So what do we do? Well we have an owner who runs the show like a corporation, so firing Isiah and trading Curry is out of the question. Now that we've established Isiah and Curry are P-R-E-T-T-Y much staying, the next step is to pick a style of ball: Fast.... or Slow. Ya, I'm gonna go with slow, unfortunately despite the fact most of our team would be good in uptempo. In that case keepers? QRich Marbury Curry Lee (most likely) James Frye Goners? Crawford Nate Why Crawford, huh. Big 52 right. No, wrong. If Curry is your 1 or 2 option, then your going slowball (essentially), therefore less possessions, meaning you need efficient shooting, not streaky jack-em-up stuff. Crawford would be great in Pheonix or Denver where he could just rain free, but that won't work here unfortunately, so he needs out. Atleast IMO. Question is --- what should we be looking for in return? AllStar player NOW? Or through Free Agen. later? Your call..... 'Less of course you'd rather just keep J-Clutch.
Use Him as Bait for a Legitimate All-Star
Trade 'em for Cap Space
Keep 'em (he's the best we're gonna get)

You know what I'd like to see....

I'd like to see Curry post up on the strong side, it's like he ALWAYS posts up on the weakside.

Sorry, I know random.

DAMMMMM, God Eva is so sexy.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Speaking about Crawford --

You wanna keep Crawford?

Then dump Curry and get a legitimate top 5 big man. Kind of like how Ewing had Starks, or Hakeem Cassell.

Curry is really just too fat at this stage to tell me he's gonna be anything more than a 20 ppg scorer.............with emphasis on scorer.

Ask me again next preseason, and we'll see what he's looking like then.

If he continues to improve his passing, FT shooting, and weakside shotblocking, he'll be a Top 5 Center (Yao, Howard, Amare, JO, Curry), with Shaq probly trailing.

You basically need to be top 5 at your position to get the All-Star nod.

Curry becoming an All-Star would be the next step. If he can improve after THAT, and become a 25 ppg scorer with average skills in everything else, then yea, he's a guy you build around him and dump Crawford.

Honestly though, imagine if we had Amare instead.

Amare
Lee
______ --- whoever you want
QRich
Crawford

We could be a really deadly uptempo team, but hey................whatever.

Trade Crawford. I can't be watching my starting 2 guard get beat backdoor with a minute to go in the game. It's just unacceptable.

IN that case Spreewell and Allan Houston should have gotten traded. They use to leave players open for 3's and get beat from the back door.

Do you really believe this team is Eddy or Crawford Bobs??? It's Eddy and Crawford, both would do well getting a real point guard on the team and a real Smallforward that can dribble the ball, penatrate plus pass while moving. Damn QBert is like the worst small forward in the league.

And a quick question about allstar centers being top 5, not really a question but a bunch of names.
2Zydrunas Ilgauskas, 2Ben Wallace, 2Brad Miller, Divac, Antonio Davis, LOL.......... LOL is not a player.

Why do you guys make up these stupid rules for Curry???? That's only up into 2001.

Dude, ****in write proper english please.

Second, since I really have no idea what you wrote, I'll assume you asked whose team is it......and my answer is Isiah's.

Top 5 Centers?

Curry's not 1 of them yet.

JO
Yao
Amare
Camby
Shaq
Okafor

All Centers better and more valuable than Curry right now.

Anji......he ain't even a top 7 Center right now, and I'm being realistic.

Check out the "Curry line" someday..... he leads it by FAR.

Can you answer a question???? YOu posted early that Curry has to be top 5 center and score 25 points with average center stats per game before he is an allstar.
From 2001 until now I'm going to name former allstars, tell me are they Top 5, 7, 10, what ever new bench mark you want to make up.
2 time Allstar Zydrunas Ilgauskas
2 time Allstar Ben Wallace
2 time allstar Brad Miller
Vladie Divac
Antonio Davis

()Yes they were top 5 centers
or
()It's Asnine to say you have to score 25 points and be a top five center because I like to exaggerate when making my "this is my GM to do list"

I wouldn't trade Eddy for Shaq at this point, or Camby. I view Okafor as a PF.

Ok, lemme add this adendum:

LEARN HOW TO FUCKIN READ TOO.

I said that Curry has to be top 5 in his position to make the All-Star team.

25 ppg would make him a legit franchise player.

Understand the difference?

Be fair. Everyone on that list is better than Curry but as far as trade value, you have to take age into consideration. Having said that, Shaq is the only one I wouldn't trade Curry for, despite the fact that when both are on the court healthy Shaq would destroy Curry.

Ok fine, taking into age and salary, I'd trade EC for:

Okafor
Yao
Amare
JO
D12

So he's still not even top 5 as far as value is concerned.

Not in my book...

While you're playing a doctor on internet message boards, you might want to juxtapose Curry's cardiac exams along side an MRI Okafor's back.
