It's the damn Air Canada Center or what ever their building is named. They are very hard to beat at home................. They will come back down to earth. THe Knicks WIL HAVE A WINDOW!!!!!!!

toronto is 27-23. let's say they go .500 the rest of the way. they'll finish 43-39.
we are 22-28. we have to go 21-11 to catch them. it will be tough. VERY tough to do that.

I don't like counting wins and loses. We will see what develops in the 2 months left. THey are still the raptors, their will be a chance. I have to believe this.......

that's true. all we have to do is keep winning and everything will take care of itself. but we can't be watching them or orlando or anybody else. we have to handle our own business.

Theres certainly no coincidence about teams with good executives and good records. Bryan Colangelo is a great executive and the moves he's made have paid off ALREADY and he's only been there a year.

the moves he made:
TJ Ford
Bargnani
Anthony Parker
Garbajosa

The guy knows what he's doing and the Raptors and their fans are reaping the benefits.

Any team is beatable in this league and it's been proven every night. The difference though with the Raptors is you have to be on your A game to beat them. They also have the potential to blow you out if you aren't careful.

Toronto has to travel to San Antonio and Houston and many other Western cities before the end of the season. they have a tougher schedule than we do. but they're good. we'll see what happens.

Have to concede that the raps are the real deal. No signs of letting up. Chris Bosh is amazing. Unless we overtake Orlando I think that leaves us in 9th place(assuming we pass NJ)

Toronto beat the Bulls by 1pt on the road tonight. They gave the Pistons a tough go for 3 1/2 qrts. They have won 11 of their last 14. They are 4gm above .500. So far they are handling their tough schedule pretty well. T.J Ford and Calderon might be the best 1-2 point gaurd combo in the league.

toronto is really clicking but the bulls went zone the final 4 minutes of the game and held them scoreless. raps up 10 with 2 mins to go and the bulls went on an 11-0 run to take the lead. then bosh got fouled and hit ft's to win. but the raps had trouble with the zone vs. detroit as well.

watching them this year, zone gives them trouble. but if they are guarded man-to-man, they have a top 5 offense in the league - it really is a thing of beauty.

They are a young team and will eventually figure out the zone when Sam Mitchell works on it. Zones give a lot of teams trouble in this league. The best thing to do in a situation like that is take what the defense gives you and use up the clock. Bargnani can shoot the rock but I'm more impressed with his D. Man he was a solid pick-up for that team.

You're still taking the Knicks' chance to win the Atlantic seriously?

DJ

Toronto's backcourt is taking their opponents lunches with the clinic they're running. They played an injury riddled New Jersey team tonight but they still keep racking up the wins.

they're the 2nd best functioning TEAM in the east (behind detroit). i'm not sure if they are built for the playoffs, but they are clicking. their offense is a thing of beauty. 9 new players, all of them are highly skilled, unselfish, and team oriented. all of them can dribble, pass and shoot. they lose nothing when they go to the bench. they beat the teams they should. and get some big wins along the way. 14-4 since jan 10th.

the tj/calderon duo is the best duo in the league hands down. calderon can start for over 1/2 the league. calderon has a better feel for the game than tj, but tj is more talented. both guys are getting 6/7 assists a night. combined production is VERY similar to nash in pheonix. no joke, everybody should watch them play - that's how a team should function offensively and it starts with both of them.

DJ we have gone back and forth restating some things for emphasis and I'm sure most of it coming from the fact looking at the Knicks club bewildered at the F'd up backcourt we have. I'll say this again. I'm to the point I was at 2weeks ago, I expect Toronto to win. When they lose I'm shocked, stunned, miffed, astounded!
