Bootleg Post Of The Day Courtesy My Man chip in an alternate Knicks Universe

Meanwhile, back in the real world, we win! Five players in double figures:

Jamal: 44 minutes [One of this best games as a Knick, under control, picking his spots, attacking the hoop, making his floater moving the ball, attracting defenders, playing some better D...7-12, 3-6 from trey, 6-7 FT, 3 boards and 2 assists, including that gorgeous alley oop to Eddy]

Eddy: 41 minutes [FTs? 13-16...like WOW! Now that's what I'm talking about. With 8 boards and... THREE ASSISTS, and all of those second efforts around the hoop]

Quentin: 39 minutes [15 points with 7 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals...clutch threes down the stretch...good D and playing effectlvey like a SF...Kiid be praised]

Stephon: 37 minutes [That pass to Quentin on the fast break. his Defense, his lack of ego, and that incredible third quarter stretch where after no points in the first half, as he concentrated on getting his mates involved, he explodes and attacks the hoops and propels us to the lead. One of this best games as a Knick, with 15 points, 7 assists, 4 boards, 2 steals, some strong D and LEADERSHIP]

Lee: 36 minutes [What didn't he do? 16 ppoints, 10 boards, 6-7 FT, a steal, a block and two assist, including that gorgeous touch pass from Jamal to Eddy for the jam, and another quicke feed to the paint for Eddy that took that shooters bounce]

Channing: 21 minutes [6 points 3 boards, 2 assists, 1 block, nothing garish but save for a couple of TOs, effective, some clutch shots, and adapting to his new role as a sixth man]

Isiah has reached Marbury.

Isiah has Jamal playing focused and effectively.

2 game winning streak and misterearl is out in full force.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Not one new pro Knick/making strides thread to read in this joint after that victory...Mind you the Knicks need to put a sting together to get people excited but man two statement games in my estimation...Eddy made a statement against DHoward basically saying you may get the glory and headlines but you will have to deal with me in the east type game...

Beating a .500 team from the west and basically saying we are on par with you is a statement as well...Consistency is the name of the game with this team now and LEARNING HOW TO WIN...LEARNING HOW TO WIN...Adjustments and improvement is the name of the game now...Bring it every night because the schedule isn't as brutal, games are spaced a little...Stay tuned...

Everyone knows I'm a homer...I don't have anything new to add to the mix at the moment...last two wins are nice but we need to sting a few together...Then you will be seeing me in full force bells and whistles...

Personally I have not seen the past few games, had better things to do considering how bad this team is, but the last two victories are encouraging.

As far as IT's adjustments and such, lets wait and see how long this run lasts. We have had how many different lineups and rotations this year? And every other one was supposed to be the one. I'm not saying its bad he is making changes, I'm just saying lets see if they are good changes.

Also, I remember saying how the home record was going to improve and road record to worsen, as we would play enough games, to counter the "fans are at fault for booing" argument. So all of ya who said otherwise, suck it. Just kidding, but I was right.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

It's possible that others are thinking the exact same way.

I just hope that people will like me

right... the mother of all homers has ZERO confidence in his own team. So instead you just wait in the wings hoping and praying that you can run amok telling everyone 'you told us so'

However by saying nothing your admitting that its more likely to see more half efforts, blowout losses and inconsistant play typical in 3 years of the Isiah Thomas era.

Geeze, at least Earl mans up and just admits he loves them regardless of what actually happens on the court night in and night out.

Knicks justs won two games in a row for the first time in a month, so pardon the haters for not streaking down 5th ave and planning for a parade just yet

I would love to be wrong, I would love to see this team become a force, but to do that they need to give a max effort everynight and they need to be better coached. I dont see either happening anytime soon.

Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

>>Geeze, at least Earl mans up and just admits he loves them regardless of what actually happens on the court night in and night out.

fish.mike - that's why I hang out witchoo. My orange and blue Marcus Camby Sheik Towel is always nearby. Anyone who has followed this noble but troubled franchise for as long as I have understands the ghosts of The Garden are difficult to overcome.

Hell, in the days of the territorial draft the Knicks shoulda been first in line for Kareem. Bernard never blows out his knee and plays with a young Patrick Ewing. Chollie Ward never cut-blocks PJ Brown.

I hurt when the Knicks lose and I savor nights like last night. Why?

'cuz I plays 'em one at a time.

I feel better days around the corner.
