Did I touch a nerve Bip...Bip like lots of people here, you don't think Isiah is the answer and the Knicks should be trying to get to the lottery to get that illusive Franchise player..Am I wrong about that, I could be...Most of your posts are usually lengthy filled with fluff and no clear picture of where you stand...Over the last year you did notice quite often people misquoted you or didn't understand your opinion because you usually don't state it clearly...You are usually on the fence, You usually allow yourself wiggle room on most opinion and post..You know exactly where I stand Bip, I don't play politics with my opinion...All that man/boy, 12 year old stuff is beneath you...Opps, sorry am I trying to state another opinion about you again..

hol, Bip is pretty clear to me. How about you stick to your opinion and don't fill in the opinion of others without quoting them.

Bip is like a broken record because he says the same things over and over again, in a good and clear and precise manor. You must be mixing him up with bobo.

So what is Bip's opinion if it's so clear?

Well currently his opinion is that your opinion of his opinions could use more facts.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

The biggest joke about the Bipster is that he is a broken record. I am happy to admit that sometimes I post the same thing over and over again. Most times it's a joke. It's part of my schtick. How can you ever misconstrue my opinion? Is it because I like somethings and don't like others. Is that why I'm inconsistent. Because in your world everything has to be great?

Holfresh I have never waivered on my opinion once. I do beleive you read the posts of a couple others and attribute it to me. And don't get it twisted I am misquoted by the same 3 people over and over again. The rest don't seem to have a problem understanding where I'm coming from.

Here is how things go down with you and me. You have it in your mind already set what I think about a topic. You quote me, never actually having an exact quote, just something you think you remember me saying. I come on and tell you how I feel and then you think I'm being inconsistent because it doesn't match what you think my opinion is.

So here I will tell you what it is. Put it in a spreadsheet and bring it up the first time I contradict myself.

Isiah-I don't think he is the answer as GM. I have said this a billion times. I don't mind him as coach and think he has gotten exactly what I expected him to get from the team. As a GM I think he has wasted so many moves that I think it's time for him to step aside, coach the team and let a proven builder build the team. Now, find one moment in time where I have contradicted this statement. I've said it so many times, that there is no way possible any human being that is not flaming can get it wrong

Trying to get to the lottery to get that illusive franchise player-Not once have I ever said this either. AS a matter of fact I have said the only thing I want Isiah to do as long as he is GM is stick to a friggin plan. If Eddie is your "franchise guy", build around him with complimentary pieces. Find players that compliment him, a shotblocking big man, a PG that can get him the ball. Again this has been said so many times that there is no way you could miss it. If we are saying that Eddie is not our "franchise guy" than you do everything in your power to find a "franchise guy" whether that is through the lottery, trade, free-agent is irrelevant. You'll notice that in my posts I often put "franchise guy" in quotes because I don't beleive in the franchise guy. I am a coach and beleive in team, so most of the time you will hear me mention CORE. A core is a core group of players that you can build around. So not only do you misquote me, you get my whole philosophy mixed up with someone else.

Honestly holfresh just stop with the nonsense. If you hear me contradict myself, address me at that very moment. Call me out on the actual post. Tell me what I'm saying in that actual post that you disagree with. Stop referring to mythical conversations that you probably had with someone else. Don't call me out a week later with a post somehow quoting soemthing you thought you heard me say a month ago, or what you really think I mean. And if you think I'm wishy washy on topics call me out. Ask me a question. I will tell you exactly how I feel on everything abou the Knicks. If my stance is unclear make a post and ask me what I think. I would be happy to respond. That's what most people on this board do. That's why noone else ever misquotes me. I have no ill will towards you and am just trying to have a conversation with people on this board about the Knicks. I don't care if you don't agree with me. I don't care if I'm wrong at times(we all are wrong at times). I just want to talk Knicks without some guy runnign around posting on other topics what my opinion is. I can speak for myself.

I want a cochesive plan. Find a core and build around it. If that is Eddie Curry than find players that compliment him. If it is not than use all your resources to find a core to build around.
I just hope that people will like me

His argument(s) made sense. It was tough for some only because he refused to label it pro or anti-LB.

That much I remember...I stand corrected...

This just proves my point. With you, in your world you either despise and hate everything about LB or you love everything about him. But in my world, the objective world, you can hate the job he did last year without hating the man. You can think he did a horrible job without disparaging his career. You can give him blame for the record while also giving blame to the players and Isiah. In your world, it can only be LB.

Bip, stop trying to elude us from reality. I think it's quite obvious that you send love poetry and chocolate and flowers to Larry Brown and that the two of you are thinking of adopting kids. Couldn't it be more obvious?

How often does Frye chase perimeter players? Isn't he usually guarding the PF? Is that now considered to be a perimeter position?

Geeze, I never used to think so, But if your Channing Frye and play for Isiah than yes.

Larry was a superhero out to save the knicks from the evil clutches of Isiah.

Like most superheros, he was misunderstood and is back in his cave plotting his comeback.

Dolan was wrong to fire him so fast. Usually it takes a while for superheros to mount a comeback and in the movies there is a time lapse story line!

But the evident progress time line was not to be for Larry!

Isiah is thrust into a situation to try to be a superhero but we know he is just a poser of one since he lost his magic powers when he retired.

It is said that too much of this:
"Sucked" the powers out of him but aided Magic into beating aids.

Larry is now plotting his revenge in Philly!

We need a new "Superhero" and must refrain from trade deadline starphuch!

My world is not about LB
I pound LB to no end because of the job he did here last year

Did you just contradict yourself in your own post?

Again heres' the disconnect. I have no problem with your opinion of LB. I ACTUALLY AGREE WITH YOU. You have it in your head that I disagree with you about it.

My opinion of LB is simple. He was brought here to change the culture of the team. He took that as a ticket to do what he wanted. He did not want to coach this bunch and wanted to completely change the roster. I have no problem with him wanting to change the roster. If he had a plan go for it, even if I disagree with it. However, I do have a problem with him giving up on the team in the meantime while conducting that plan. I do have a problem with him helping to turn my team into a sideshow. His concept was fine, but the execution was horrible. Is that fair? Anything wrong with that?

Isiah wanted to change the culture of the team. Brought in a big name coach to create a splash and never once gave thought to whether that coach fit with the players he had on the roster. If some idiot on an UlitmateKnicks website can figure out that LB would never mix with these players than Isiah should have. I guess if I thought LB was a savior my hatred towards him would be in full affect. I would have felt disappointed. But I knew that he wold not be a savior. I warned about it in pre-season. I even started a post in which I said, "in Brown, out Marbury" because I never thought the two would fit. I asked the "what if" questions in preseason to raise the issue "what if" they don't get along. And guess what, implosion. I think it was all their fault. I dont' care who is the better coach out of LB and Isiah. That is irrelevant and I think pointless when people discuss it. The problem last year was not LB's or Isiah's failure. It was an organizational failure. A repeated failure by our organization that pits our GM against the coach instead of having two people with similar philosophies and vision on where the team is headed.

Isiah wanted the team intact. LB wanted it torn apart. How was this not seen in an interview? "Starphuch" is why. They knew, but they prayed anyway.

Now again, I have handed blame to all involved with most of the blame falling on a poorly run organization. But somehow you twist it into a love for LB. Why because I dare say someone else played a part. Oooooooooooooh

refreshing letter.

if only all basketball players used such colorful language.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Bip, I lumped you into a group of people that I thought wanted to go the route of breaking it down to get a franchise player...I would hardly call that quoting you....

You misinterpreted it because Bip doesn't believe coining players, franchise players.

And that may be true, but You saw the post and you responded to it because I included you as well as Andrew, Martin,Codeunknown, etc....Bip is now stating I'm quoting him as a result of that post....

The only reason I included Bip was that I remember him saying we don't have a Franchise player and we need one...Are you saying in all these pages Bip never said that...
