Players I would want Isiah to trade for instead of Ray Allen:

Paul Pierce
Josh Smith
Pau Gasol
Andrei Kirlinko
Jason Richardson
Micheal Pietrus
Corey Maggette

Take J-Rich off that list.... his knee is ****ed

I'd like to add Jermaine too.

In terms of Ray Allen: So much for this alleged youth movement.

In terms of Pau Gasol: Will he be coming off the bench because we have to start 2 centers to accommodate Curry's nonexistent defense? Plus we have nothing that Jerry West would want. Unless West plans on replacing Isiah next year and wants to bring Gasol with him.

In terms of getting a backup PG: I thought we were so stacked with PG's that it made no sense to draft Marcus Williams.

What are we on, plan Y or Z? I lost track.

Agreed that we don't have enough to get Gasol- but has anyone noticed that the price has gone down for him.

Ray Allen is like one of my favorite players so let make it happen. Gasol gets injuried too much for my take.

I wouldn't further mess up the cap in the future for any player over 30.

Ray Allen would be great for this team. A veteran and a shooter. I doubt it will happen cause the article sounds made up.

Made up indeed. There is a new bogus rumor now with the same package of J Oneal to the Knicks.

Do you people not understand...Isiah has been taken for a ride by several GMs. We have gotten hosed in so many deals. We have ZERO expiring contracts and for any person that is of "all star" or "superstar" status, we will have to give up the house. Including Curry and Lee. If I am a GM, I would ask for both in exchange for a legit big man. They arent taking a bunch of guards or SF's and Channing. Gimme a break!

I don't think Isiah has been taken for a ride. I think his mistakes have been made out of hubris.

According to Prosportsdaily.com, Isiah is looking to make a splash, either by landing Ray Allen or Pao Gasol for a package possibly including Frye and Crawford. If he can not get a elite player, a backup PG is an option.

2 Things
GET RAY ALLEN AT MOSTLY ALL COSTS
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRADE DAVID LEE OR EDDY CURRY

Other than that, anyone or anything is ok by my standards.

As of right now, Lee And Curry are probably our two most vailuable assets. I highly doubt they will go, unless of course it's for a bonified superstar that we wouldn't know about.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Isiah doesn't seem to value Lee much. He could easily be traded.

When you give up four draft picks to get a one-dimensional center, you're left with many gaps to fill and few resources to get players to fill those gaps.

If we don't give up Durant or Oden, I like the Curry trade.

I'm really not interested in Ray Allen...... how old is he again? Another poor attitude with a huge contract that dont play D.

Pau Gasol would be interesting.. I have heard he is Soft, but he blocks some shots.. but I dont think he is worth the money he gets paid, and i dont see him being happy with a reduced role next to curry.

Gasol would most definately be a starter, either as a center or a forward. Remember Divid Robinson and Tim Duncan on the floor, in Robinson's last few seasons there? Gasol and Curry would be awsome on the floor together. As a matter of fact, Curry's courage and defense would increase, knowing he'd have another big man next to him, to divert anyone coming in to lay it up or shoot it.
I'll never trust this' team again.

How do you mean? You mean the fact he doesn't start him regularly and brings him off the bench? I'd lose all respect for Zeke if he got rid of Lee. That would be insane.

Exactly. He brings Lee off the bench and lets his minutes fluctuate depending on the health of inferior players. No other team does that with their best player. The only problem is Isiah thinks Lee is our fourth best PF/C.
