Jerome James and Frye share 1 thing in common, both have SLOW FEET.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Did you see the Seattle playoff series where JJ was the difference...He may not be the best but he can be a defensive presence and a difference maker...

The Knicks have nothing like it and need to use him more...

Easy to look good when you're going against a gimply Brad Miller and an otherwise horrendous Kings frontcourt.

How did he look against all star center Dwight Howard...Was that two block shots against Howard?

hey... Spoon once dunked on Yao Ming and had 20 rebounds in a game playing center for the Knicks. Doesnt mean I want to see him starting

JJ is starting because Isiah is starved for a compliment to Eddie Curry. Someone who makes up for the weaknesses of another player, instead of slapping people in a line-up and hoping for the best. What a novel f'in concept!!!!!!!!!!

At some point he will look for someone more reliable than JJ. Expect a trade that addresses this issue. A trade that does exactly the things that I have been called a hater for suggesting. Why does it take 3 years to think about complimentary players?

A defensive compliment was necesary with JJ2 shrinking lately and no D from Lee or Frye.

If you're talking about Curry, its taken half that time.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I wasn't talking about Curry, I was talking about Isiah's 3 years here where I've been asking why doesn't he find a center piece and then build around it with complimentary pieces. I've been calling for this for 7 years actually and have yet to see a GM get serious about doing it. In the meantime I've watched GM's jam every "available star" on the roster and listened to the fans think "this is the one" that turns us around. No this is not a new concept for me. It just seems to be for some.

Eddie Curry does not play defense or rebound. He has never played defense or rebound. He may never play defense or rebound. Eddie Curry can however be dominant on the offensive end. So if that is the case and you are using him as your star it makes sense to build around him with perimter defenders, a shot blocker, a PG that can feed him the ball and some dead-eye shooters to eliminate double teams. Instead I watched our GM waste moves on Jalen Rose and Stevie Francis and use a draft pick on a role player.

The world does not center around the past year and a half. This has been a a trend in NY since the day Patrick left. Isiah and Layden have the same flaws. Those who know me know I've been preaching this for years. Everyone else just seems to be late to the party(including Isiah).
