There is no need to make any effort to lose.
Losing is coming naturally
I personally will continue to wach the games and hope to see some great moments for Lee, Fry, Balkman, Craf, and may be even Nate.
My only fier is that IT will trade this players for some borings guys as he usually did.
Also it will be great to see him gone. will be such a releaf...

no need to tank... Isiah's teams usually quit on their own

Tanking when there is a reasonable expectation of getting a franchise guy.. i can abide.

I can't abide tanking to satisfy an impatient fickl[e] fan base. Feel free to stop watching the Knicks if you can't take it anymore.

I agree, we should not tank to satisfy the fans.

Rather, we should tank to guarantee Isiah does not return to this team after this season. We simply cannot move forward as long as he is here.

Dolan may be the underlying problem, but he is not going anywhere. That is a fact. Isiah, on the other hand, could be gone if we lose enough games. That is also a fact.

That's my exact reason. For Isiah to go, and that itself will result in satisfying the fans. He needs to leave for several reasons, as a GM and as a head coach.

As a GM, it's clearly obvious he's had numerous opportunities to turn the franchise around, and I'm not going to get into the details and the MLE's because we've already hammered them to death.

As a coach, his lineups are far more consistent that LB's, however they are still flawed. Once again, I'm not going to get into the David Lee coming off the bench issue, as that's been beaten badly also. His use of timeouts has cost us some opportunities to win close games, and he has the wrong players in at the wrong time. There's no doubt in my mind Malik Rose should've replaced Curry to get the final rebound of the game by controlling the paint against the better team, New jersey. There's no doubt the young, athletic, and eagar Renaldo should've been guarding Gerald Wallace in the terrible Bobcat loss. If there's one man on our roster who should be targetting the opposing team's best scorer (provided they play the 2 or 3), its Balkman.

Any objections ?

The only reason I couldn't bear seeing us tank is the whole trade w/ Chicago. If we're bad enough to get in position to where we could have gotten Oden or Durant and they turn into a superstar with Chicago, it would be VERY difficult to accept.

^ Very difficult indeed.

I'd probably have trouble getting sleep at night if these guys turns into a Hall of Famers...

Enough is enough. The team is horrible. I've really gotten to the point where this team makes me sick. The "franchise player" does one thing, and one thing only. Frye is a lost cause, he can forget about all the all-star nonsense, the guy can't even go to Vegas for the Rookie Challenge. My mother's back is better than Q's. My little cousin's FG % is higher than Jamal's. Please, for the sake of the city and its loyal fans, leave us Isiah and don't ever think twice about returning. I don't care who gets our pick, let them have it, and may they be successful since we can't.

PLEASE ISIAH, JUST GO AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Dude... you're not a fan. Tank for what? Tank so we can get give awawy our pick to the Bulls? Tank so we can get a player at the top of the draft that's better than the players we've been getting from the bottom?

You have a better coach in mind to develop these guys? Ask J.O'Neal or Al Harrington or Jamaal Tinsley what they think about that.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Here we go again with this "Tank so we can get give awawy our pick to the Bulls?" nonsense.

I'm done with this topic...
