Yes, it's safe to say I've DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DIFNEWIFHWEOF scrapped that plan.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Great post dude.......

I think the top big men in the east are as follows at the center position

1. Howard
2. JO
3. Bosh
4. Okafur
5. Ben Wallace
6. Alonzo Mourning
7. Lee
8. Curry

Shaq is injured

Every player on this list is a dominant rebounder except Curry and most are dominant Defenders. Okafur and Mourning are changing the game for their team as is Oneil and Wallace. If you watch teams attack the rim there ability to score is always challenged, and you can see players think twice about challenging, whereas Eddy sits on his fat ass and doesn't rotate and leaves the lane open.

The most important player on the Knicks is by far David Lee if we lose Curry for the season Frye would fill in very closely if he was getting the shots Eddy did, while doing a better job on defense. Our offense even moves better when we are not just dumping it in every play

lol... Alonzo Mourning's defense is changing the game for his team? funny, but the Heat's record is pretty similar to the Knicks this year? that's strange when we have zero shotblockers & defenders, wouldn't you say?

the fact that you rank a 36 year old Zo over a 24 year old Curry is pretty ridiculous... you put those guys up for a trade & see how many teams pick Zo over Curry dude... it's not happening.

& Ben Wallace is better than Curry? sorry, but Curry has outplayed Wallace in all 3 games the Bulls have played the Knicks this year... try again.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

THat MS guy is worthless. Even so, though he had to badly reach, he put Curry 8th out of 16 PowerForwards and 16 Centers.

You guys are failing to get the point.

I'm not saying Curry isn't valuable and won't get better.

I'm saying we will most likely never have the assets to TRULY build around him.

I'd give him another year too, just to bump his value, then send him to a team that's better suited for him.

Like Atlanta or LA.

Why are you changing your tune on Curry all of the sudden?

You can bring up all of the scenarios you want. The bottom line is, unless Zeke is going to listen to you, Curry's not going anywhere. At least not just yet and maybe not for a few years up the road. Maybe never. If you and Zeke can get Tim Duncan for Curry, then I'm in. Otherwise, forget it.

And why do people keep saying 'build around Curry'? He'll make a great compliment player. He won't be a dominating center like other dominating centers. But on the other hand, if Curry can be like let's say.........Ben Wallace, then that's dominating. I myself am sticking with what we got and waiting for the good moves to come along in a few years. I really don't want to have to start over again. It's getting pretty sick doing that. Peanut Butter Man.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Exactly, thats right.

But you failed to get what I meant by build around him. It wasn't really that hard to get, but you made it complicated so I'll explain in layman's terms:

Curry needs certain "things" around him (superstar; enforcer; shooters), for him to be useful to a team and be an overall positive.

But b/c of our situation, we may never be able to get those things -- a superstar; an enforcer, shooters, role players.....which kind of makes Curry's role questionable in the long term.

And here's the other thing.

Because Curry could be SO valuable to certain teams; teams like Atlanta and LA; we can eventually get back something pretty nice for him.

Say a young talent (Bynum, Josh Smith) + cap space, and maybe even a nice role player (Radman; Zaza).

Catch my drift?

if atlanta gets the #2 pick - trade them curry for that pick. the #1 pick will take oden. atlanta has a ton of swingmen. they need a center.

Oh' there you are! It's signed 'miss peanut butta'. I see you sent your wife 'miss peanut butta' to come fight your battles now. That's cool. I can hang!

Every Knick fan in the City knows about building around people, each other and making this team better. That's what we're talking about dude! Oh boy' now your defending Curry. Yesterday it was the opposite. You were all up in arms for Lewis and today it's Curry. I see that crack is wearing off.
I'll never trust this' team again.

That's an option, but I don't think they'll get the pick, I think'll it'll go to Pheonix in a huge coup that would pretty much guarantee Pheonix another 9 lives *sigh*

I think realistically, there's"

Bynum & Radman

~or~

J. Smith & Zaza

'Course I'd rather just have the pick...

the pick is top 3 protected in 2007 and unprotected in 2008. so if it's the #2 pick, then it's atlanta's.

Let's say that happened. We get the 1st round pick. Who do we pick? And who's going to be big and can we get them? See how complicated it is? Get my drift?
