Don't worry cause you'll be here to give one or billion if we lose.

OK, I'll bite just this once. When have I ever made excuses for this squad? If you're going to jump on me, at least let it be warranted.

i coulda swore that you always blamed it...one the rain....

You said you didn't need her
You told her good-bye (good-bye)
You sacrificed a good love
To satisfy your pride
Now you wished
That you should have her (have her)
And you feel like such a fool
You let her walk away
Now it just don't feel the same
Gotta blame it on something
Gotta blame it on something

Blame it on the rain (rain)
Blame it on the stars (stars)
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain yeah yeah
You can blame it on the rain
Get
Ooh, ooh (ooh)
I can't, I can't. I can't, can't stand the rain
I can't, I can't. I can't, can't stand the rain
Yeah, yeah
Should've told her you were sorry (sorry) huh
Could have said you were wrong
But no you couldn't do that. No, no
You had to prove you were strong ooh
If you hadn't been so blinded (blinded)
She might still be there with you
You want her back again
But she just don't feel the same
Gotta blame it on something
Gotta blame it on something

Blame it on the rain that was falling, falling
Blame it on the stars that did shine at night
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain yeah yeah

You can blame it on the rain
Cos the rain don't mind
And the rain don't care
You got to blame it on something
(Blame it on the rain)
(Blame it on the stars)
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain yeah, yeah
You can blame it on the rain
Girl

Ooh, ooh (ooh)
Girl
I can't, I can't. I can't, can't stand the rain
I can't, I can't. I can't, can't stand the rain

Get
Girl
(Whatever you do...)
(Blame it on the rain yeah, yeah) x 3
You can blame it on the rain, blame it on the rain,
blame it on the rain baby
(Blame it on the rain yeah yeah)
Blame it on the stars that did shine that night
(Blame it on the rain yeah yeah)
Blame it, blame it on the rain

Walking in the rain
Walking in the rain

(Rain, rain)
(Stars, stars)
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
(Blame it on the rain)

Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain yeah yeah
Blame it on the rain (rain, rain)

Have the Knicks have lost every game this year when a team's star is out?

I don't believe that to be true.

I think most know the team defines the word 'enigma' very well. Some nights they play well, but some nights not. This is not to say this is a good thing, but to suggest that the team has no chance of winning tonight reeks of disgruntled Knick fan angst, and a rejection of a hopeful outcome, which is quite plausible.

The team is what it is. Mediocre, inconsistent and frustrating, but with some potential to be good -- which they display some nights and sometimes for more than a few games.

I suppose I just feel that it is a waste of emotional energy to react against this reality by seeing things from a purely negative perspective and hold, what seems to me to be, overly high expectations.

To be clear as I've stated before, this does not mean that there should be low or no expectations, but maybe we shouldn't drive ourselves crazy about it, and lash out too harshly at players who are trying to grow.

I guess I'm trying to understand why some who have "Zero Confidence" in the team to win any games, which we know is not supported by

what fun is it if we don't go drive ourselves crazy over it? this is a hobby to most here. shouldn't one be a little passionate about their hobby? just b/c one is negative about the knicks doesn't mean they're negative about life or every aspect of their existence. it's the knicks, it's a message board, who cares if someone hates everything or someone is drowning themselves in kool-aid.

just be happy you have all your teeth unlike marv and keep on keepin' on.

Kobe suspended tonight vs. Knicks
ESPN.com news services

Kobe Bryant said Tuesday he was "shocked" to receive a one-game suspension for hitting Manu Ginobili in the face on Sunday.

Bryant said he unintentionally elbowed Ginobili and felt "terrible" about the play. However, Bryant said he can't believe he was suspended.

"I haven't seen a precedence for this. There's unintentional elbows that take place in a game all the time," Bryant told reporters at Madison Square Garden.

Bryant hit Ginobili while trying to defend a shot with 2.7 seconds remaining.

"I'm blown away by it. It makes no sense," Bryant said.

Bryant's suspension also surprised Lakers coach Phil Jackson.

"I have been a little disappointed with how Kobe has been treated as a premier player," Jackson said.

Bryant was not ejected for the incident and finished with 31 points in the 96-94 loss.

With Bryant suspended, the Lakers will open an eight-game road trip without their leading scorer.

Bryant is averaging 28.4 points, 5.5 assists and 5.4 rebounds.

This suspension is ridiculous.

Kobe would have to be the most calculated person in the history of the world, even more than Isiah, to think that his elbow was premeditated.

All he was doing was looking to get the loose ball after his shot was blocked so that he could put up another shot. To do that he had to box out Ginobili which is what he was trying to do.

Yea I agree, the NBA is a joke isle. Stern is mostly to blame for this, the league now allows flopping, and has made it the norm, guys act as if they are shot out of a cannon, hit with a bat, shot with a thirty yard six, I mean it is disgusting and ginobili is another one of these sissy floppers... they now said the NBA is looking into penalizing floppers.. I say about time.

kobe's appealing it:
Kobe Bryant was so stunned and angered by his one-game suspension, he took the extraordinary step Tuesday of asking NBA commissioner David Stern to convene an immediate appeal hearing.

As of 3 p.m. ET, the NBA Players Association was still awaiting a response from the league office.

Kobe should be allowed to play. Man, and if he does, you're right, we have ZERO chance of beating him. Man, he'll make Craw's 52pts look like peanuts.

I'm not as sold on Bynum as others. I'd love to see Bynum play tonight, because I'd love to see a fair matchup between him and Curry.

Brian Cook will probably eat Frye alive, though. And then hit one three in DLee's face so certain folks here can be like - "OMG, DLEE NEVER DEFENDS!!!"

One question: When will they start suspending Ginobli for Flopping?
You kidding me? The way he acted, he should be out a game or wearing a face mask or something the next game.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Howdy

I dont call this any big advantage for the NY Knicks. NY cant win, if with Kobe and NY wins or losses they were not picked to win this game anyhow. Kobe should not be suspended, I'm no huge fan of Kobe.

If no Kobe, which is case unless his appeal turn over tonite show NY can win and everyone will say how lucky NY Knicks is, if they won.

This ruling Stinks. As a New Yorker(nj man) I dont want no free rides, dont want no free gift
or advantages and I'd like my team to beat the other fair and square.

Once again Stu Jackson, aka da' DAVID Sterns rules and offices does in the Knicks all the hype and hoopala is missing from tonite game. If NY losses with NO Kobe, All NY newspapers will be all over the Knicks and riding the org. for a Bad loss.( Kobe no show)

Stinks and I hope Kobe get's his appeal through. Dont see him intentionally trying to hurt Manu.

If you ask me & look at the play Manu is a guy who tries to run at you cause he is rough tough
defender, he's trying to get the call as much as Kobe trying to get foul OR make a basket, so in
that case its a wash. I dont see Kobe gloating over a fallen Manu Ginobulli when this happened.

NBA again does injustice, as they did when Big Ben Wallace got off easy for Instigating and keeping
alive a Fight with Pacers, and he got lightest of all rulings. Besides I like Ben Wallace but
if it were not Ron Artest Ben would have let the situation quelled down after Artest walked away
& got assessed fouled/ball and technical shots. Wallace did nothing to quell this brawl no less
than Nate Robinson did in his part of KNICKs/NUGGETs brawl.

This Kobe ban is not even in the PACER/Piston Brawl category. Kobe Belongs to show his stuff
in MSG tonite. We only see him once & I dont care if it improves Knicks chances.

As fans we shouldnt want any Charity either from NBA which disdains the Knicks
Above is only my opinion, thanks for hearing me out. Its nice to join this NYK forum board & see
few faces I know and meet some new posters.

But whomever plays tonite for L.A., GO KNICKS!

I'm glad he didn't play and I'm glad we won, but that suspension was as unfair as it gets. On one of the last plays last night when Marbs tried to drive on M. Evans he lost the ball. In the process of losing the ball Marbs arm shoots out behind him and misses Evans by about a quarter of an inch. Would Marbs have been suspended for that?
I just hope that people will like me
