Sent to be with Lucas who is known as the "betty ford" for NBA players.

Given the Knick propaganda machine it would not surprise me if this guy had a coke problem, weed problem, had a vagina installed, was depressed, got some VD, had mono, or just plan old was hurt.

Or, he was sent to some Mao Red Chinese work camp to be "re-educated" according to party standards.

And to think, LB got fired for not wanting to play the injured, crackhead, Maoist, whore.

Well, at least there are only 2 years of Franbury after this dreadful season is over.

With that being said, it's dreadful the guy is still on the team.

He will likely be bought out and then join the man who brought him here in Philly.

My sales people all want million dollar salaries. I know it's not good for the company, but heck I'll do it. they asked for it. I can't say no even if it's not a good idea.

Honestly the guy has not been given a chance to succeed here in NY. The circumstances that he has had to deal with since he has been here have been tough. I personally remember Stevie playing pretty well for a stretch at the beginning of the season and I welcome him back!
Steph is not a 100% and should not be playing anywhere close to 40min. Q, even though he is now at the 3, is banged up and might always be banged up.
Francis should come off the bench in a 3 guard rotation with Steph and crawford. He should get at least 25min!
He is averaging over 10pts and 4ast in about 25min given the circumstances. He is better than Nate.
Remember last year everybody hating on Q when he went through everything he did last year and now he is everybody's favorite knick.
Stevie was brought into a circus last year and then tried to fit in playing next to Steph when Steph was playing the worst ball I have ever seen anyone play. IF and it is a big IF he is somewhat healthy I think we might be surprised.

So are you saying that the Stevie and marbs backcourt can work?

i think the question we need to ask whenever we think about bringing in a new player (or bringing back an old one in this case) is:

do we want this guy here in three (or so) years?

chris webber? no
eddie jones? no
steve francis? i say no

etc.

homers: if the goal is improving, then why bring in a quick fix? if wins aren't the ultimate metric of success this year, why not let the kids play? improving on the contributions of someone on a two-year tops plan is NOT improvement.

haters: why should we tolerate a win now move to save IT's job? we're not winning anything now, what's the point?

fair enough? thoughts?

hey isiah was harping on our bad Ft shooting, Stevie shoots 93% from the line!!

That's great. I expect no less than an NBA finals appearance now.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I am saying that Marbs should only be playing about 32min on average a night and Francis should be on the court every minute that Marbs is not. You play Marbs and Francis together for about 10 minutes a night and see if they can gel at all.
There is Francis's 26 min a night of the bench.
Then if Steph has to take a game or 2 off to rest Stevie steps in.

Also Crawford is so inconsistent its crazy. When he is off we need another option.

I do not think that a Steph and Stevie backcourt will work if they start and are on the court together at all times.
