I would trade anyone at any time if it improved the team.

If and when an offer that you can't refuse comes along, fine. But to trade Lee to get rid of Crawford's contract makes no sense.

king this thread really worries me.

you make it sound like Lee wants to be traded..... Lee is not the guy to trade, not for artest, not for AK47 not for any of those guys u mentioned... for Lebron? ok. Wade? ok.. Chris Paul? ok... Im not trading my best young player for anything but a superstar.. whats the point?

That's a really good point Elite-
It's too risky to trade away promising youth unless the guy coming back with make you forget about it- like Lebron /Garnett

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I don't think CUrry can opt out of his deal. I think the contract can be void if Curry can't play because of his heart within 2 season...............

Honestly I don't even believe the thread starter really thought the knicks should trade Lee, so why even argue that point. Frye on the other is a young seven footer that has shown abilty in his rookie season, you can always get something for that. Kwame brown was traded for Caron Bulter abd Darko got a unknown first round pick, a salary dump or his contract and a salary dump for Arroyos contract. Frye is the guy who should be moved if we move anybody.

Our best bet right now is to keep Frye, Lee and Curry and just let them improve their games as we allow our stupid contracts to expire. It's nice to actually have three frontcourt players who have trade value, which means that other teams want them, which means they must be talented. Frye has been in the league for less than two seasons and has been hurt for a significant portion!!!! Give the guy a chance. This is what rebuilding is all about. Patience, everyone...patience!!

I agree with this thread. You have to explore all the possibilities... This team is on track to win 35 games.

I think you trade Q whose trade value is at an all time high , because it is only a matter of time before his back problems really limit his career.

I would keep Marbury, Crawford, Lee, Curry and Balkman.
