u saw him on a night when he wasn't playing well... go to more games & you'll see him be a catalyst for the offense out there too... he's inconsistent & very streaky... when he's on, he's literally unstoppable, & it's a beautiful thing to watch

Yes, but he's a 38% shooter. If you're saying the success of the team relies on a 38% shooter being unstoppable, I think we're in trouble. I also saw how the offense stagnates when he's running the offense. Marbury and Francis are much better distributors than Chuckford. I think Chuckford needs to step into a Rip Hamilton-like role or get traded, because the style that he's been playing holds the entire fate of the team on him getting on a hot streak, which is a risky proposition.

the fate of the team doesn't rest in any 1 players' hands... it depends on the entire team playing well as a unit... that's a different topic... i'm just telling u Craw is not half as bad as u might think he is... you caught him live on a bad night... i've been at games when he absolutely lit up the Garden & let me tell u, there's not a player on this team that can do the things he can do when he's on his game... he's the closest thing to a true star go-to perimeter player that we have when he's got it going... Marbury can be great when he's on his game too, but he's never as unstoppable as Jamal can be at times, & not half as exciting of a player either IMO.

So your view of Chuckford is that he's a poor man's Sprewell? Hmm. That was what I hoped he'd be when he got here, but to some extent, it's been a little disappointing. You're right, though, when he's on, he looks unstoppable, just like Spree did.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

a win tonight means we play our best game of the season. last year, like earl said, they didn't have amare both times. and it took us triple OT. this year we got spanked in pheonix and the suns look to be on a mission. they went into washington last night and obliterated them (it was 41-20 by the end of the 1st quarter).

anybody can win on any given night, but we would have to play a damn near perfect game.

this is also quentin's first time playing against his former team. i think we try to slow it way down and dump it to eddy.

There is no chance of winning this game. I say we rest Steph and maybe experiment with some SL changes, perhaps starting Lee and Q at the 3/4 and **** it, start Mardy at the pg. Dont even get your hopes up about this one fellas. Knicks lose by 30

jamal NEEDS to focus for us to take this game. if he feeds eddy and the rest of the team like we know he can, we have a shot. if he fires away like he does too much, he might as well be shooting at the other hoop because the suns will run all his long misses back for scores.

If there is no chance of winning izybx, are you going to watch American Idol instead?

the suns have gone on multiple huge win streaks. you don't do that by overlooking opponents or taking it easy on back-to-backs.

we on the other hand are an immensely unpredictable team- witness last game. we've won big games, some missing key players. and played well with our backs against the wall on occasion- when they've needed a win for isiah. so who knows? i think it'll be closer than the suns last dozen games and our last one suggest.

briggs, last night's game vs. the wiz was a laugher. amare played 19 mins b/c of foul trouble and nash sat midway through the 4th.

we're gonna lose by 18.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Seriously... we can win if Nash scores 40+ and they have an off night from three. Just let Nash drive and score, keep the other guys out of the game and we'll give ourselves a chance. When those other guys start getting open three pointers when teams collapse on Nash, they are unbeatable.

Spree? no, he doesn't have the same type of passion or aggression that Spree did, & isn't the physical defender either... Jamal's much more of a finesse & flash type guy... when he's got it going, i see a younger version of Ray Allen in many ways, not as fluid of a jumpshot, but better orchestration & dynamic passing... Jamal's the type of guy who can shoot 0 for 12 in the 1st half & then go off for 30+ in the 2nd half... you really never know if a single made shot or layup will get him going, so i'm always on the edge of my seat when i'm watching him, cuz i always think after a couple made shots in a row, he's going off on another 1 of his tears where he's in the zone & no one can stop him... man, when that happens, i get so amped up watching this kid play.

Two hours before the game watch the movie Gladiator while you are blaring ACDC in your headsets. get yourself into a warrior mode and believe you WILL win the game.

Rudy is a way more inspirational movie. And listen to the Rocky sound track heavy.

In order to even compete in this game. Curry has to be dominant, Lee has to dominate the boards. And Crawford & Q have to catch FIRE.

Frye & Nate are going to have to step there game up about 15 notches to make up for Marbury. Maybe Balkman can do something in the free flowing game.

Those suns play some real good basketball though. And they seem to enjoy taking it to us.

Suns have just too much consistency and a lot of team work, team work, team work! I appreciate a team like the Suns. No nonesense, just play the fundamentals and share. It's talent used at it's highest potential. They have a pretty good coaching team. It really works well and they don't have to rely on a big team. Great ball handling, ball control. They do things you can't see in the stats. It's not impossible to beat them, but you do have to have your game and it has to be good, on the mark, because Phoenix capitalizes on others mistakes.
I'll never trust this' team again.
