Steph thinks he'll be able to play tomorrow. I don't know. I've been concerned about his minutes for a while now. Ever since Francis left. Jamal and Nate are putrid and I don't want them anywhere near the point. Both of them tried to jump to pass the ball last night and that kind of panic shows how bad they are at playing PG. They just can't do it. I'd rather see Isiah give Mardy a shot over nate at this point. I don't know why he doesn't play the guy. He's shown himself to be sound with the ball even if he's not spectacular.

I agree. Steph needs to take a few days off to rest his knee. I don't want the injury to linger all season. I can agree with giving Mardy a shot. I am not convinced that he is the answer but he will at least play good defense at the position, which is something Nate and Crawford have not really been doing.

LOL, how does the knicks having problems with the press show Crawford can't handle being the point when he did it for half of last season????

Not handling the press is a Team and practice problem. And if Crawford had to play the point for a week, he would do fine. It's just that he would have no one to help him with the point guard duties while he is on the floor. I don't see any reason to go over board over last night when Crawford played the point already for the knicks and was pretty good at it. Breaking the press is something you have to practice and I doubt we did a drill with Crawford, Lee, Nate and Rose on the floor togethr.

Who made excuses??? THey didn't handle the press at the end of the end, pretty cut and dry. Doesnt mean Crawford can't handle playing the point in the next or the knicks won't doa better job against thepress forup coming weeks.

If mardy cannot play 20 min then just cut him.

Come on... Nate is learning his lessons... he was clutch last night. We can go a couple of games with him playing big minutes.

Its not just a question of who can run the point... we have several players that can pass and bring the ball up. Its about who can pentrate, draw fouls and kick the ball out to people who can make plays. Nate is that guy.

Or... we can sign G-Mac to a 10 day and just know that he'll get injured 5 days into it.

Frank was and is horrible. He was a taller Charlie Ward without a jumper, or defense, or passing ability...
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Crawford can play SOME PG but playing him at PG is not a good proposition. The Knicks were terrible with him at PG last season and he played much better after Marbury came back and he was allowed to return to his natural position.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

The thing is, Is Steve Francis "ready" to return? The whole situation w/him has been kind of sketchy, with few details mentioned IMO, so it makes one wonder if he's ever coming back.

At one time, to know you had Marbury, Francis, Crawford and Nate as your guards, who'd of thought we'd still have problems there?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Oh hell' let's just use Crawford and Nate for now. It's not like they're pathetic.
