sometimes u have to stand up for your player if he's not getting the calls on the other end of the court... if the T had happened in crunchtime, it woulda been inexcusable mistake on Isiah's part, but in that case i can't bash him too much.

When the techs happened I said this is going to look really dumb if it turns out to be a 1-2 point game. I dont mind arguing blatant calls but our guys are yapping too much on less than blatant calls.

Marbs thought he got hit on 2 or 3 drives in a row. The one before he was yapping at the official. I think on the 3rd one the official had just had enough. It happens. NO big deal and really didn't affect the outcome. Nor did Thomas' tech. I think its just more controversy for the papers than anything else.

One of the difficult things with coaching is when to purposefully get a tech. It's very rare that you should. Normally you do it when your team is flat. Not when one of your players has just gotten a tech. When you do it immediately after a player gets one it can sometimes backfire. That player now starts thinking that he was justified in complaining and it sometimes will become their focus from that point on.
