Money!...Players are leaving school early to earn some cash in the NBA..They are not learning the team concept that makes the game beautiful...They skipped college all together until last year...Most studs will only spend one year in college...Imagine Ewing stay four years at Georgetown...Unheard of...I think Hakeem the Dream spent four years as well...Rarely did a player leaue who wasn't ready...They really went to college to learn to play the game...So yeah the game has changed dramatically, for the worse...

Your initial debate is irrelavent. There are too many teams in the league ? What the heck are you talking about, almost every league has 30 teams! And yes, teams are necessary in OK, NJ,Charlotte,Memphis, and Toronto because we need 30 teams !

I agree with your asessment on the quality of the players, there's no doubt the game ain't the same as far the the players having the basic fundamentals of basketball mastered. But hey, I'm 99% sure you'd do the same thing as those guys by playing a season at the collegiate level and earning some cool cash in the machine they call the NBA.

How is it ever irrevalent when teams can barely get two good players to play together...How is that irrevalent...Why does the league need 30 teams???...The league was great without OK, Memphis,Orlando, Toronto,etc....How old are you anyway...Do you remember team basketball..

the league needs to contract.

close up charlotte, new orleans and memphis. nobody goes to their games (once the hornets move back to new orleans). and they are relatively new teams. if they can't sell tix, then the city can't support them.

contract them, divy up the players in an expansion draft and the league will benefit b/c of it.

imagine an expansion draft of the following:

paul, west, chandler, mason, ok4, brezec, ammo, felton, may, gwallace, miller, gasol, gay, warrick and lowry.

now you put each one on another team and the talent level of that team increases immensely.

Personally, I think the league was most hurt by the influx of high-school kids as well as kids not going to college fore more than 2 years. The game is watered down to highlight-reel plays.

Let me guess, the league should have less teams so the pathetic Knicks' chances of success are automatically higher. You two want the league contracted for social reasons, while the NBA has its business reasons on expanding it up to 30 teams, which is just perfect in my opinion.

And BTW, I'm 25. And NO, I don't know team basketball, all I remember was Jordan dropping 50 point games on the Knicks.

Jordan dropped 55 in his return from baseball the Garden..I was at that Game...Listen I'm not trying to argue here...I'm not sure what you mean social reasons, honestly I don't care, honestly...If you saw Boston and the Lakers play you would understand what I mean...Thus the reason I asked you age...But you are entitled to your opinion..

I didn't see Magic of Bird play, but I do know what team basketball is, I'm jus pullin ya' leg. Not trying to argue here either. Cheers to a good debate.
