We don't have players that Jerry Sloan would want back. I think Lee and Frye would definitely fit the Jazz plan, I can't see us trading anyone with a salary back to them because Sloan wouldn't like one player on our team. MAYBE QRich but thats a maybe.

I'd do anything to get AK47 here.

What a misleading thread title because is purely speculative. Uhhhhhhhh does anyone remember how many trade rumors Boozer was involved in the past 2 seasons in Utah and never once did they have a valid trade on the table to move him? How's Boozer doing now? Look, for those who don't know Sloan by now, he test players. He's done it for almost 20yrs now. This is nothing more than a player/coach rift that will be settled in practice and on the floor.

would you give up Q, Lee & Frye for him? that's a tough call for me... i really love D Lee's game... the whole point to get a guy like AK47 would be to let him play alongside Curry & D Lee... i don't see a match at all w/the Knicks that suits both parties.

i think a team like the Spurs would be a perfect match for AK47... they could offer Bowen & Manu, who would fit in perfectly in Sloan's system as well... only problem there is those 2 teams are divisional rivals, so you're not likely to see a trade go down between the 2.

if you were Utah would u do AK47 to the Nets for RJ, Marcus Williams & a 1st round pick?

top 10 players i don't think so.......

arenas
nash
wade
melo
lebron
kobe
duncan
kg
dirk
Yao

you would also rather have: bosh, d&j howard, paul, joe johnson, redd, billups, iverson, perhaps even artest.....

He has injury issues and is getting huge money and doesn't fit into the jazz system right now and they can afford to move him with okur, boozer, williams

Nah. AK47 doesn't solve the missing interior presence they desperately need. Plus, Utah has there own Williams. No need for Marcus. Maybe Utah would listen the Nets added VC however. He'd give them that go to perimter player they need.

FROM UTAH NEWS THE STANDARD:

Jerry Sloan told Kirilenko to focus more on the defensive end since they have okur williams and Boozer.

Kirilenko responded with it's not intresting to play only defense.

good point... VC for AK47 would require more money coming back from UTA tho

Of your list, I take him over Melo, Duncan (age), KG (age), Bosh, Josh Howard, Chris Paul, Joe Johnson, Redd, Billups, Iverson and Artest.

I'm sure you disagree, but Kirilenko is a monster. I can't even believe Paul, Redd, Josh Howard, Joe Johnson were in your list. That's an insult to how good Kirilenko is, IMHO.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Solace, I would love AK47 just as much as anyone, but ahead of Bosh, Dwight Howard? Come on. Those 2 are big men superstars in the making, and you do what you can to get one. Actually, Bosh probably already is a superstar.

Reread the above post, I listed the players from MS's list that I said Kiri was better than. Those weren't two of them. After reviewing the list, I'd probably revise to saying top 15.

Josh Howard is a comparable player imo... he's a better scorer than AK47, but AK47's probably a better passer & defender... both do all the little things to help their teams win though... maybe you can rank AK47 a bit higher than Josh overall, but it's pretty close imo.

no way would i rank AK47 ahead of AI or KG though... those guys are among the top 5 players in the game IMO... all those other guys are about on a similar level as AK47, maybe slightly over or below either way.

Well of course, it's my opinion. But I say that AK47 is better than Iverson... today. Than, KG, no, but I would rather have AK47 because he's got 10 good years left, as to where KG may only have 5.

Yes he is. Paul is basically Marbury. You don't win championships soley on a 6' point guard.

Who said you are winning a championship soley on Paul, he's a great distributor and scorer. No team is winning a championship soley on AK47 either.

Paul is ALOT better than Marbury man, come on... he's got all the intangibles you want in a PG (leadership, passing, court vision, handle, scoring, clutch factor) & he's not a pain in the butt off the court either... plus he's a much better rebounder than Marbury is also, & i wager to say a better defender as well... the only thing Marbury has that Paul doesn't is a $15 basketball shoe named after him.

Paul's putting up 18 / 9 / 4 / 2 right now... that's elite PG stats

Point is that point guard is the most replaceable position in the NBA. I can name 20 PGs who do some facet of what Paul does (we have three of them). I can name maybe 2 or 3 SFs in the entire NBA who do some facet of what Andre Kirilenko does. That's the difference.
