we already have 4 of them in D Lee, Q Rich, Balkman & Jamal imo... Marbury's beginning to show some good synergy w/Curry too of late.

in regards to other teams, other than the obvious star players:

PF's: Etan Thomas, Reggie Evans, Ty Thomas
SF's: Josh Smith, Al Harrington, Ruben Patterson
SG's: Raja Bell, Gerald Wallace, Mickael Pietrus
PG's: Brevin Knight, Chris Duhon, Kirk Hinrich

I really wish Isiah was able to squeeze Duhon out of at least one of his trades with Chicago.

Simple. Anyone who can pick him up defensively, until he improves, including the guards, and guards who can shoot and pass. So basically, a basketball team.

that woulda been nice, but they obviously like him alot & probably wouldn't have agreed to including him in any deals.

Would you have thrown in Ariza in the Curry trade if the Bulls anted up Duhon?

hell yes i would have... of course there's no way we can tell if Paxson woulda been amenable to that idea, but i would have liked to see that, yes... that probably woulda meant no need to even consider making the Steve Francis trade also.

It's not persistence Solace

It's fact

You don't think David Lee in his fourth year is an All Star?

Undecided. But you think Lee is the PERFECT compliment to Curry? You don't think a defensive player would be better next to him?

Solace - David Lee can always go to Arthur Murray to work on his footwork.

Lee may not be perfect, but he's ours

Um... tay.

For now, till free agency.

Anyway, I think you just admitted that Lee probably isn't the perfect fit next to Curry, so basically you're making a mockery out of someone's question by not answering honestly.

While I was at the Bobcats game I said Okafor. Dude was DOMINANT on D. He single handedly killed the Knicks game plan on offense. Seriously.
Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

Solace - a mockery?

not really

it was an honest assessment as I have a high opinion of Lee's potential and ability to refine his game

the same wish i have for Channing Frye

dishonest?

Ugh... why do I bother.

I actually like Lee, but I do think you need one defensive intimidator up front. Between Curry and Lee we have none and that's our gaping hole.

I love Lee, I would love to see him start next to Curry but Isiah just isn't going to let it happen. At this point I don't think Frye is the compliment next to Frye either. If we're going to be looking at players to put next to him I really like putting Brendan Haywood next to him. OR, going after a Ike Diougo type guy who is a robo-rebounder, when given some burn.

Channing Frye/Jamal Crawford/Nate
for
Ike Diougu/Michael Pietrus/Adonal Foyle

GET IT DONE ISIAH.

okay, I'll play along

the perfect Old School player for Eddy Curry, at the peak of their careers:

1. Maurice Lucas

2. Lucious Jackson

3. Dave DeBusschere

4. Caldwell Jones

5. Lonnie Shelton

New School

1. Ronny Turiaf

2. Marcus Camby from Hartford

3. Elton Brand from Peekskill
