I'm a huge Lee fan and I always defend him and am frustrated when he gets less than around 32 minutes. But you've got to see where Isiah is coming from. He signed Jeffries to a long-term contract and HAS to give the guy a chance. How many games has Jeffries played (I'm too lazy to look it up)? Maybe 15 at most?

Isiah is not that stupid. He knows how valuable Lee is. Why else would he always play him down the stretch of games? He played just 26 minutes Monday, but I believe he played the final 14 minutes.

That said, I do want Lee to start, and I think he will eventually, hopefully by next season at the latest. Because if we keep bringing him off the bench, when he becomes a free agent Lee might be inclined to sign elsewhere to become a starter.

Puh-lease. Berman's agenda is ALL STARBURY. The dude writes anything and everything about Steph. Its borderline disgusting. Worse than the people that make excuses for Steph on the message boards. This is actually the first time I have ever seen him neglect to mention Marbles in his blog. But anyway, in spite of any perceived racism by Isiah, which I think is virtually non-existant in Berman's rant based on Zeke's comments, its almost refreshing to see Berman expand his repetoire and write about Lee versus Steph...BERMAN-BURY.

IT is pushing his players to get even better. It's exactly what he has done with Curry. First he got him into shape. Then he got him to be a beast inside and cut his fouls. No that he is being doubled he is getting him to learn how to pass. All of a sudden he is making his FT's too. Curry is slowly becoming an Offensive monster.

With LEE, what else can he criticize? Lee has no confidence in his shot. When he gets it going, watch out! Defensively Lee is a step slow, but he is smart enough most of the time. What NY needs with Lee and Curry is a great help defender ala Oakley or Camby.

By saying in 2 months that shot will go in, IT is saying to them "Keep working, stay in the gym, be a gym rat" and it will show eventually. IT knows LEE is working hard.

Breen and Clyde sad yesterday that Lee and Frye and Balkman (i think) have great work ethics and are constantly trying to improve their games. Frye has a nice jump hook in th elane off the dribble now.

lol just for the record i only put i the racist thing for fun to see everyone get all bent out of shape.. i dont really think Isiah is racist lol.. it was a joke

But the WHOLE POINT is that LEE CAN hit a 15 foot jumper... I am totally comfortable wit Lee shooting an open J... He makes it more than he misses it.

Honestly, and I rarely defend Isiah, but this article is completely bogus. Isiah basically praised Lee and made one comment that *could* be spun as a negative and it was taken as a complete bash.

I can't see what Isiah said that's wrong. And Jeffries shouldn't be starting, but I'm not sure you can start Lee at SF either.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I never understood the racist claim on Zeke. Sure he hated Bird and the Celtics, they were his and his teams enemies. But his defender and good friend with the Pistons was Laimbeer. I don't get it.

WORD... his shot is so far beyond fixable.. I think Curry has a better chance of hitting a 15 foot shot consistently than jeffries.

Once again, Lee ALREADY CAN hit a 15 foot shot.

Larry Brooks of the post used to be the same way with Bobby Holik. I think once guys like these get a quote source they do everything they can to please them
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg
