S. Marbury
Points: 24
Reb: 4
Ast: 6
Stl: 3
Blk: 0

and 7 TOs. Marb has got to cut down on that. Some of his passes/plays that ended up in TOs were on the ridiculous side of things.
Every PG occasionally has a high TO game. TOs haven't been a serious problem for him in the bigger picture though.

HIs play really picked up when Bonn came back!

In reality, this is Marbury's career on the line here. He has to salvage the remaining years on his contract, the past few years have severely tainted his view as a star player. I am happy he has found his way, it can only mean good things for the knicks.

I have this question for the board regarding Marbs.

If Marbs can play like this every game (just about allowing for an off game or 2) I mean knowing when to score, penetrating dishing, and playing kick as$ defense while minimizing turnovers, would you like him to stay on the team. Oh say the team really starts winning and progressing forward. Basically I am asking you, would you keep him if he finally started to produced the way he used too and it was translating into wins and everything was gravy ?

My answer would be, it would be a tough decision, I would have to keep him. If he is playing better and the team is winning. I ask because I know many want him gone, but what if he and maybe the team are turning the corner together?

i don't have the confidence that he won't revert back to his selfish ways, so no, i would probably not want him to stay here... would prefer to trade him when he finally has some trade value & give the reigns over to Jamal personally.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I love the way Marbs is playing. He deserves the props, just like he deserved the criticism before. He was criticized for not leading, for being selfish, for not playing d and being a pain in the neck. Since the Chicago game when the fans were ready to run him out of town he has been a model citizen. I'm of the beleif that we need a PG that is young and can grow with Eddie Curry so that they are both approaching their primes at the same time. I'm also very wary of Marbs because we've seen this before, but...........

I don't think he's ever going to be in high demand for a trade. So as long as he's producing he's fine. But if we get another setback it may be time to just cut him. His excuses have run out. he's playing well. He has his coach. The fans are supporting him. There is no reason for a setback at this point.
I just hope that people will like me
