oohah you dont play bad for a extended period of time when you play hard all the time. What is Frye excuse?

The statement I bolded, I don't think that is true. Remember when John Starks went into a season-long slump the season after after his finals bomb-out? Didn't he always play hard? How about Q last year? Just a terrible season he had. Didn't he always play hard?

Frye played badly for the first 8 games of the season. I have yet to observe him not playing hard. I don't think a player needs an excuse to have a slump. It happens to even the greats.

Are you of the opinion that Lee will never have a slump? The characterization of needing an "excuse" to play badly for a period of time is the exact reason Lee better not have a slump!

Rebounders don't usually slump. Frye's slump is more obvious because when he's not scoring he's hurting the team. Lee is helping the team scoring or no.

True indeed, rebounders have shorter poor periods because the nature of rebounding is not the same as scoring. And I hope Lee never goes into any slump, or funk, whatever you want to call it. The whole town would flip on him immediately. Shoot, they did it to Jeter, they would definitely do it to Lee!

I think people like Lee because he plays hard every game. If the rest of the Knicks played as hard as he did this team would be better. To say he is as talented as most players is crazy but he get it done. If Lee had Frye talent he would be an all star.

Or if Fyre rebounded like Lee he would be an allstar...Which is easier???

Well playing hard should be the easiest thing to do. Frye hasnt figured that out. He also cant put the ball on the floor and plays like a European

I'm sorry but I don't agree that Frye doesn't play hard. And putting the ball on the floor is the least of his worries at 6'11'. Incidentally, most Europeans dribble pretty well.

He shoots the ball very well. You may be right let me re phrase that he isnt tough. When your 6-11 and average 5 rebounds a game I have a problem with that. I also have a problem when your supposed to be a shooter and your shoot an Iverson like 40%

So explain to me if DLee play so hard why he doesn't get to the three point line to defend shooters??

Lee is a good player is the reason why Isiah plays him...He sucks defensively tho...

He is playing out of position your talking about a guy that has been playing the three and the highest level. He can't draw a 3 with a pencil and you expect him to guard someone at the three. David Lee has never played a 3 in his life, and to show that he will at least try shows me a little. Why wont Frye make a great pass? Why wont Frye rebound if we are asking questions?

Frye right now is trying to stretch the defense to make it easier for Curry on the inside..If you noticed, Frye was primarily an outside shooter since Q went down...but tell me this, I know that Lee is at a disadvantage guarding threes...You are saying he always plays hard, how is it sometimes shooters are wide, I mean wide open...I'm not talking about getting beat on a play..he isn't even in the picture...He's under the boards...How is that playing hard???

I will disagree with you and I am sure I know Lee game a little bit better with you. He may get lost and Frye plays outside all the time he wont go in the paint. If frye stretches the defense for Curry why does lee play more minutes and always in the fourth quarter. Frye stretching defense at a 40% clip. The reason Lee plays is because they are pounding the ball inside to Curry and dont need a 6-11 man on the perimeter they need someone to rebound and make good passes.

King, you think they should start Jefferies and Lee at the forwards?

David Lee is NOT a Small Forward therefor when the play happened he was playing out of position. The man is used to playing down low, this idea that he doesn't get out to the 3point line to guard 3 pointers is ridiculous. The scenario has happened once or twice and you are using it as the norm.

I've never heard Isiah Thomas once say anything about Lee's defense to the press, have you ever thought that Isiah has told Lee to crash the boards at all costs?
