I love what Balkman brings to our team, but my question to you is

Would you vote for him if you lived in another city?
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

That was my reaction too. I think you need to add about 10 spots to each person's draft selection. (The player drafted 1st would usually be an 11th pick, 2nd usually a 12th pick)

What Blakman brings doesn't show on a stat sheet. I'm not that surprised that he's not recognized.

By fans outside of NY, maybe, but so called experts should know.

Most 'experts' who cover the NBA are able to get away with being less prepared, knowledgable, and up to date for their profession. I do not have the time to watch other teams like I used to but the lack of knowledge, stereotyping, going with the hype that is allowed to be reported by some so called experts is very frustrating. My favorite NBA guy is still David Aldridge. I am not sure why ESPN decided that they could not have Steven A. and Aldridge at the same time. I like Smith but choosing style over substance is always a mistake and that is what happened in that situation. When fans are more knowledgeable than experts it is always a problem. I often find that to be the case with the NBA. Thank God John Thompson isn't doing the draft anymore.

The reason is no one outside of us watches NY games anymore. If we win a few in a row and take the lead in the Atlantic and become relevant in April. Then maybe we will get a spot on tnt or abc and even then they wont talk about how the team is doing, they will focus it around IT.

Most experts don't have a clue. they're just the most knowledgeable within the compagny they belong to, which doesn't say a lot.
