No the thread is,"Isiah said Jeffries was the greatest player in the world........well that's the way I took it when he said the team isn't an full strenght andit needs JJ2".Because I mean when people say the Lakers areplaying badly since Odom went down,of course that means Odom is a better player then Kobe............ not that he is the only person that takes care of the ball, runs the offense and get's other players involved.DUH!!!!!!!

Crawford is a better starter then 6th man. We should see what Q brings ofthebench, because he maybe a better 6th man then starter..... Plus marbury seems to be better with Crawford at his side.

I doubt Q comes off the bench for several reasons.. Shooting, defense and his back. Once he's loose, you can't let him get cold to start to the game, then throw him to the wolves.

So you would put David Lee on Prince to start the game????

So how does the Prince guarding Lee work to our advantage??

I don't understand this. Ok, Jefferies should start-noone is disagreeing with that. But why is he spinning it like Jefferies is the only starter he has?

What about the Frye-Wallace Matchup?

Yes. Lee is faster than Frye, stronger than Frye, rebounds better than Frye, passes better than Frye. The only thing he doesn't do as well as Frye is shoot.

I'm worried that Rasheed can exploit Frye alot more than he can exploit Lee.

Holfresh Wallace had 4 points against Lee in Detriot. How about Frye sitting down. JJ started two games and 122 and 105 were scored in blow outs. You know Holfresh you're right Lee will get his double-double no matter what IT does.

We got to see Frye on Wallace that lasted about 4 minutes. Frey does one thing better than Lee that is score and blocks 2 more shots a week.

Lee is not stronger than Frye....For a guy who rebounds well he doesn't play big...Frye plays bigger in the middle than Lee does...Lee is not what one would a defensive presence in the lane...Fyre play bigger in the post as well...Come on, Lee will get his minutes not sure why so much complaints...

David Lee
11 points, 10.3 rebounds(3.7 offensive, 6.6 defensive), 1.5 assists, 1 steal, .4 blks(he averaged 1.5 when starting next to Curry at PF), 64% from the field, 78.6% from the line, averages 3 fouls per game.

Channing Frye
9.4 points, 5.9 rebounds(1.6 offensive, 4.3 defensive), .5 assists, .6 steals, 1 blks, 39.7% from the field, 84% from the line, 3.1 fouls per game.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3934

And I know you are going to ask me about the games Lee started next to Curry to prove he averaged that many blocks, so:

Nov. 28-3 blks
Nov. 29-1
Dec. 1-0
Dec. 2-0
Dec. 4-2
Dec. 6-0
Dec. 9-1
Dec. 11-0
=13 blocks in 8 games.
= 1.625 blks per game.

Holfresh argues defense because you cant put a stat next to it. Everything that is measured by a stat Lee beats Frye.

I not going to dig up some slanted stats to prove a point because I like Lee....We all know that Frye blocks more shots per game in less mins, not just games he started...Lee plays an important role for the team I cheer for, so it's all good...Lee will get his minutes and he will be effective start or no start....What can I say, I just see either forward on the Pistons is a tough match up for him...

You drop the Nov. 28th game and he's blocking .4 per game...I think Nazr had like 8 block shots one game for the Knicks...

Ok...let me get this straight. You're saying I slanted it by taking all the games he started and averaging out his blocks but you're taking out an arbitrary game where he had a higher number of blocks and that isn't slanted?

Ok...Take out the Nov. 28 game.
10 blks in 7 games
1.43 blks/game.

If you take Frye 30 point game away he is averaging about 6 points a game.

Using the grid you provided, the total seems like 7 blocks not 13...
