I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I have a feeling that Stephan, Steve, and Q all heading to the Allan Huston tunnel
I am not expecting to see these 3 guys healthy any time soon and most likely ever.
And this is a good thing as having this situation at the end of the season will prompt total team overhaul which is what we desperately need.

Marbs and Francis I could see because they both are high mileage 10-11 year vets. Qrich doesnt have the miles on him and he will come back fine

Yeah, but Q has documented back problems, bad enough the insurance refused to cover it during the trade.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Andre Miller would be perfect for this team. He is a great passer who can throw lobs, defend and rebound. Very little ego as well. :)

The Knicks could really use a young Andre Miller.

Miller on this team would be ideal. He is an excellant passer, best lob passer in the nba, can defend, rebound, and brings leadership eithout ego

hey man. holidays are here and so are the family obligations. i was out of the house all day yesterday and all day today. just got back tonight. we may have to chalk this one up as a lost holiday gift. but i will say this, b/c of all the fouls, the game was quite disjointed and uninteresting. there were very minimal contests and other non-bball related activities. considering how big the win was, it was quite dissapointing in terms of in arena experience. much better feel on monday and wednesday. granted, i would say 40% of the arena were bulls fans so that may have something to do with it. i'll put it this way, the celebrity sighting? carson daly. i think that says it all.

Francis returns (for now)

BY KEN BERGER
Newsday Staff Correspondent

December 24, 2006

PHILADELPHIA - Steve Francis returned from right knee tendinitis last night on an emergency basis, and he looked and felt like someone who came back too soon.

"This was the first time I ran in 19 days," said Francis, who had nine points and two assists in 16 minutes. "... I felt like I was out there for two hours."

The team has only two other guards available because of the suspensions of Nate Robinson and Mardy Collins.

Francis said before the game that the tendinitis won't completely clear up until he gets two or three months to rest it during the offseason. Although the second opinion he recently received did not reveal any loose cartilage or indicate that surgery is required, his return could be temporary.

"I've got to go back on the shelf," Francis said. "I've got to get healthy."

Marbury also hurting

Stephon Marbury also was slowed by overall fatigue and a nagging patellar tendon that initially was hit against Indiana Dec. 15. "I was fine up until that point," said Marbury, who had seven points in 25 minutes after logging 41, 53 and 45 minutes in the previous three.

It sounds like something that will heal rather than being chronic, which is good.

Every time I think about the fact that we could have gotten Marcus Williams I feel like beating Isiah's face in with a frying pan. I feel Williams could have been better than Nate, Jamal,Francis and Marbury if he got minutes.

I thinkw worse is getting rid of ariza and getting francis. even if Isiah wanted balkman, who I think is a better player than ariza, we can see that ariza has value. Evidenced by orlando upping him to a multi year contract. we could of moved ariza somewhwere, anywhere along with a player like nate for a pick or another young player.. Now we are stuck with francis and his arthritic knees... what a damn joke!!

not for nothing, but we could've signed ariza and jackie instead of jeffries. so the real question could be, what would rather have:

jeffries + balkman or marcus + ariza + jackie?

good question. the only reason why I think hard about it is because I really like what balkman brings on defense and the boards and his athleticism and length... but you ask a good question... Butler was productive when he was here...
