Clyde said it best, "Eddy is in shape." It makes all the difference in the world. As much as I dislike Isiah, I have to give him credit for playing Eddy into shape.

He was in basketball shape in his contract year in Chicago. He has about 15 to 20 more pounds of fat now than then. It slows him down a lot on defense.

CrushALot - everybody hates Isiah. The votes have been tallied long ago. Then again, Red Auerbach was more arrogant and more despised by his competitors. He lit a victory cigar dring the game.

But the fact remains, Knicks are playing better basketball

here are some more facts: Eddie is in shape; Q is not as hurt this year and actually contributing; 2 year guys are a year older; no MoT, Jalen, Woods; Balkman.

The Knicks are getting better. The core is Marbury, Eddy, Lee and to a lesser degree Frye. Q Rich is going to have to be a sixth man. He'll still get 30 minutes a night. Francis should be gone. I wish someone would take him. I proposed the trade for Jamison. The only other one would be to Houston for McGrady and we would have to give away someone like Frye or Lee. McGrady may be damaged goods at this point. But to get rid of a huge contract, we would have to take a risk on a T Mac or Grant Hill and hope the health gods are with us when we took on their contract.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Frye's playing worse. Jamal's regressed according to many. Malik's older and slower. Marbury's aged, slower, and down from 16/6 to 12/5. Q Woods and Jackie Butler were actually good players. These issues pretty much cancel each other out.

Frye has never played better than he has played recently. Lee and Curry have taken huge steps up. Those 3 alone make for a very promising future
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Q is not as hurt this year

I hope you're right. These back spasms are making me nervous.

But so far, Curry has taken about 2 steps foward this season. I think his passing has improved and he's doing it a little more often, and the offensive fouls are down. When you see those 2 problems fade away from a 6'11" big low post scorer, you're gonna see dominannce. Dominance, is that a word?

hey Bonn, good that you are so objective. Woods was so good last year and has hooked up with another team, right? Malik has had a mighty impact both this and last year. Remind me if Marbury was a positive or negative last year.

Yeah, they definitely cancel each other out.

Marbury was a negative last year but not as much of a negative as this year. You don't notice any decrease in his performance? Woods was good but we don't know why he's not playing now. You ignored the parts about Jackie and Frye and Jamal.

Curry has improved offensively. He #1 with most points in the paint in the NBA with 370.

I forgot who's #2. He just need to rebound more consisently averaging 9 or more..
