glad to see JYD mentioned as a fave. That guy played hard!
Too bad he was with us for so short. We could have used him now!

Actually, I'd take Reed over Ewing. Ewing was more talented, but Reed was much better in the clutch and was the smarter player.

hey just the fact that we are all discussing all-time Knicks in a David Lee thread is big!! lol

no...YOU are claiming Lee as one of the all-time greats.

you lost all creditability with that comment...smh

I was about to go crazy and bash the **** out of you but then i realised in my orignal post i diddnt clarify... what i meant by "MY top 5 all time" was MY FAVORITE.. not that hes one of the BEST 5 knicks.. just my personal fan fav. So.. my bad for not clarifying...

And to FURTHER Clarify in case u still dont know what i mean... Anthony Mason was my fav Knick back in 94... of course he wasent better than Ewing.. But i still rocked an Anthony Mason jersey #14 not #33... Why? i just liked the guy and how he played. Same goes for Lee.

I'd take Lee on my team now, and if I could pick another player to join him it would be Bernard King. You all know if had he played with Ewing it would have been titles.

If this were about all time great Knicks though, it would have to be

Ewing/Reed
DeBusschere/Oakley/Camby
King/LJ
Monroe/Houston/Starks
Frazier/Jackson

Reed had a much better supporting cast which kind of helped.

5 favorites-only going by who I saw play:

Ewing
Houston
LJ
Harper
Tie:Oak and Xavier.

Quentin and Lee, need to keep this up and they will be able to bust into that last spot and knock Oak and X down a notch...maybe.

The Knicks could use a Sparrow type player on their roster now. There's too much "Ray Williams" in their backcourt at the moment.

BERNARD!!!!

C-Slavko Vranes
PF-Felton Spencer
SF-John Wallace
SG-Erick Williams
PG-Howard Eisley

That team would've won at least two championships.

My real one (favorite Knicks recent):

Patrick Ewing
Marcus Camby
Keith Van Horn
Glen Rice
Derek Harper
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

If you didn't see Hawthorne Wingo, you really missed out.
