Give me Curry, Cato, frye, Lee, Balkman, Q, Crawford and Marbury and Jeffires and forget about everyone else.

I still like Nate. He's a great shooter and a high energy source off the bench.

I'm fearful for the guy that replaces Lee in the starting line-up. Talk about getting boo'd.

For the record when I talked about trimming the fat during the offseason I was called a Net fan. I feel vindicated that now everyone is discussing what I was ridiculed for talking about before the season.

And no, I'm not bitter, just reveling in my foresight and genius.

The only fat we really need to trim is Francis and JJ1. We are stuck with JJ1, but I think IT can work a trade for Francis. He will only have two years left after this one and can still play (assuming the knee thing is not serious). I would not mind getting rid of Crawford. I would not give him away, but if you could trade Crawford and some other player and maybe a draft pick, for Maggette. I would like that deal for us. I really like our frontcourt and would like to give Curry, Lee, and Frye another year to see what they can become. They have the potential to be one of the most dominate frontcourts in the league. I like Jeffries and Balkman as our SFs, and I like Q and Marbury as our backcourt. Turn Crawford and Nate into a Maggette or some other similar player and trade Francis to anybody for anything other than another large long-term contract and that should trim all the fat we need to balance out the roster.

You disagreed with me about trimming the fat and then you said get rid of JJ, Stevie and trade Nate and Jamal for one guy. That's what I call trimming the fat. We have four guards that do the same thing=fat. Trading two of them for one guy that does something else=trimming.

I think when I say trim the fat people just automatically think I mean cut everyone that I hate.

no. it means that you're a Net fan & you have a secret crush on Mike Sweetney.

I was not disagreeing with you but rather was agreeing with you in general and clarifying what fat I think needs to be trimmed. I think everyone realizes that JJ1 and Francis don't really fit this team.

sorry game. I'm just very defensive when it comes to this topic because I was attacked so viciously over the summer by guys that are now calling for the exact same moves I said 4 months ago. Everytime I see a couple guys post these things after they spent the summer calling me a Nets fan I bristle and then snap at innocent people like you. It's sick, really.
