agreed... Marbury's been getting a pounding by just about everyone lately in the press & booed by Knick fans... i'm sure Isiah wanted to uplift his spirits by giving him some love after a good game... Lee has good games almost every time he steps on the floor... it's almost a shock at this point if he doesn't play well.

And prolly he gave him props in person, not via media. So what if we don't see that.

i still find it funny that he thought it was Cato that threw the inbounds pass.

Its not about one game its about EVER. You NEVER hear isiah talking about Lee and the good things he does. As for those of you refering to me as a woman and juvenile i would like to give a big holiday merry xmas and a happy new year

I think Lee will have an increased role after the trade deadline. Isiah is trying to hide him from other GM's because he won't be able to make a trade without including Lee.

LOL. Some people actually think Isiah wouldn't get jealous of his players. Yeah right. He's such a stable person.

I don't think any Knick fan, specially not anyone on these forums, should be making comments about other people's stability or lack of it. After all the loses, all the pain, all the trauma and the drama... and now the MELO-drama, the last thing any of us are is stable...

Yeah, I'm with Holfresh. Not sure why this is a big deal. I don't want to read into this at all, but in order to keep up with the women on the board I will read into it. Worst case scenario I think Isiah knew that Marbs needed a boost from all the booing and poor play and this was the perfect time to sing his praises. David doesn't seem to need any boost at all to play hard. As a coach I might have done the same thing.

I think just this week alone I agreed with Bip, Joec32whatever, and some other combatant..I think I'm losing my edge...

I don't really pay attention to the poster and who I'm agreeing with. If I think you make a good point than I will agree with you. If you get your edge back I'm sure I will go back to thinking you are a moron

I think you will find that I'm pretty fair to all. I give props and I rip apart. I'm not afraid to tear into a player or my team when they do something stupid or don't give me an effort. And because of that people automatically lump me in this silly "hater" club.

I dont care if IT ever mentions Lee name ever. David job is to go play hard and help win games, and get paid someday. Lets worry about important things like will our guards ever stay in front of someone, or will Frye play to his potential. Those are the things we need to win some games

I agree. David is who he is because he's not worried about who gets the attention. This is what we call petty.

^---- I'd be fine with Isiah diddnt ever mention Lee as long as he got his deserved 35 min a game...... Its the combination, no play, no praise.. doesent make sense.

He's averaging 29 minutes a game. I'm with you Elite I think he should be cemented as the PF(when we aren't playing superstars). He should be getting 35 minutes in my view. But just because he's getting 29 doesn't mean Isiah has it out for him(I know you aren't saying this but some are suggesting it). I think Isiah has his reasons. I'm guessing a lot has to do with him being one of a few guys that plays hard on the first and the second team so it doesn't hurt when he starts or plays back-up. Number 2 and more importantly I think his defense at times puts him on the bench in favor of a Malik or a JJ or even a Balkman.
