I have been saying all night that things changed when Cato came in the game and established himself in the middle...He made it difficult for Boozer who was having his way with the frontline...I think everything starts with this ball club having a defensive presence up front...

By the way Curry really misses Q stretching the defense..

No matter what, starting Jeffries at PF is a big mistake.

if Isiah doesn't start DLee at PF, he's digging his own grave.

yea i dont know how Jerome gets playing time over Cato when he doesn't do anything positive. Every time Jerome is on the floor its a big joke, like he's in there for entertainment value. He blalantly takes 5 steps without dribbling, ruins the flow of the game etc whereas Cato has always been a good shot-blocker/rebounder/defender. He is perfect to spell curry/frye for 10-15mins a game

cato has earned his spot in the rotation in my eyes he fits the bill as a defensive specialist 4 blocks today in omly 18 minutes

I think balkman deserves time in this rotation.....

Cosign. ANd I hope Isiah picks up that 1-2-2 Zone with us using JJ@ at the one.

Curry/Frye
Lee/Balkman
JJ2/Balkman
JC/Q
Marbury/Francis

Nate should get time too, but he can sit until Francis is gone............

I like Balkman, but lets face it, someone has to sit. My arguement is to develope a core of guys that can pull it together in a close game. Rookies are not money players and Balkman is not a skilled player in the halfcourt. For the same reason, Nate has to sit. He is not to be counted on during pressure situations despite all his talent.

I actually like Lee more than frye and I would like for Lee to play more minutes than Frye. JJ1 gets 5 minutes tops, and in many situations I can see Frye playing center along with lee.

I want to see more of what JJ2 does. My point is with Lee and JJ2 we are very week on the perimeter.

Someone has to sit. If JJ2 goes down, bring on the balkman!

I don't care if i see nate for the rest of the season i would rather see balkman get his minutes, nate is not bringing enough to the table, crawford i would cut his minutes in half

agreed... he showed last night that he still has some juice left in that old tank... Big Turd should not see any playing time ever again, he brings absolutely nothing to the table that any other bigman on this team couldn't do better except for 6 fouls... also thought this team played alot better & had much better intensity throughout the game cuz all 8 players knew they'd be getting significant playing time... sometimes less is more.

absolutely no excuse after last night's performance why this guy shouldn't be seeing 35+ minutes every night.

I like the small rotation. Maybe it's just what this team needs.

We are going to have a logjam once our guys come back from suspensions and injuries, though.

I think the extraneous pieces will be:
Crawford
1 of Marbury/Francis
1 of Jeffries/Balkman

Maybe the thing to do would be to see if we can package Crawford, Marbury and Jeffries and see if that package could get us a good piece. On a side note, I still wouldn't mind getting Etan Thomas for backup center.

Overall, if we could turn 3-4 players into 1-2 good ones who fit the team better, I think we'd be in better shape.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

we definitely need to get rid of Marbury or Francis... right now no need since Francis is sidelined, but once he comes back we'll have to make a move 1 way or the other... i don't agree that Jamal has to go, but i'm not married to keeping him either... if you could get Etan & a pick for him, i do the deal... but as it is i don't mind having Cato see some minutes as our backup C... he showed last night he can still be a defensive force in the paint, which is what we've been wanting all season.

I do agree that the rotation needs to be cut donw and that JJ needs to be excommunicated. I think JJ2 and Balkman are very similar players and that only one of the two should be getting significant minutes so they can develop a consistent rythm. I love Balkman but I thin he sits for now. Nate should sit as well. Francis or Craw should be traded for one of our needs.

As for the rest of them. This is a great win. Even if we had lost it would have been a great game(albeit a disappointing one). This is the effort we expect to see now that their joy is back. This cannont stop here. WE've been here before. This must be consistent. We cannot go back, not give effort and then blame the refs or LB or the Nuggets or the fans. To erase the criticism they must give this type of effort and resiliency always.
I just hope that people will like me
