he is always laughing about something.....

Wizards press conference laughing about them going 14-20 for three, he asked about it days later says the same thing if the opponent shoots that tonight we are going to lose, laughs again.....

I don't care if he thought it was funny or not, he was laughing after he said it, thats not something that is at all funny.

This incident is going to hurt us in the win column if we ever make our way there, again, hopefully the team pulls together, but everything is a joke with this guy.......

Laughing on letterman over a coach possibly getting fired, there is a pattern here no overeaction....

As the self proclaimed leader of the team, you think he would have the sense to say guys, don't make any comments about what happened after the game, but Nate probably got a couple of extra games because of it. He is a poor example for anyone in his position

I think he was laughing at the fact that nobody picked up on the fact that they were trying to embarrass us and it needed to stop.

I thought it was a no brainer as well.

as a fan, I'd like the league to not try to set a precedent at suspending a coach for calling for a hard foul on my teams coach.

Tonight's opponent may be the dirtiest of them all, but he doesn't run up scores or settle scores.

But run the score up on Utah and see if someone doesn't end up in the hospital.

it's all perception, and my perception is from the standpoint of, don't do a reverse dunk in a blowout in my house.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

it was a sarcastic laughter, not something he did because he thought it was funny... enough w/the reaching for excuses to get on his case already... there are other reasons to bash on Isiah, but this ain't 1 of them.

tim, santa monica: how is it isiah doesnt get suspended? is a lack of evidence the problem. everything ive read says he was verbally threatening anthony. also, how does this incident further cement his place as worst gm/coach in the league/history?

Bill Simmons: (2:15 PM ET ) I think the brawl was either the highlight of the lowlight of the Isiah Era. I can't decide which one.

Bill Simmons: (2:16 PM ET ) One other thing I loved: In the press conference, did you notice that he did the same creepy, sarcastic laugh that he did after saying that Larry Bird would be "just another good player" if he was black back in 1987? Thought that was interesting.

Bill Simmons' feelings for Isiah are well documented... i wouldn't look to him to get any fair & objective analysis on the situation... you mine as well reference islesfan

people who get their reports from things they've only read & haven't seen aren't the best sources to go to when it comes to judging a situation objectively... anyone who saw the exchange between Carmelo & Isiah, both of whom were smiling, could tell you that it was a lighthearted exchange between these 2 guys... Spike Lee just went on the air before w/SAS & said he was jawing w/Melo too about him being on the floor just before that happened & Melo laughed it off... to say that Isiah was threatening Carmelo when he said "stay out of the paint" is reaching for excuses to lay blame where it doesn't really belong... Isiah & Melo obviously share a good relationship, as can be seen when Isiah approached Melo after the fight & talked with the guy... if he was threatening him do you think Melo would want to talk to Isiah afterwards? please... enough

I agree with their take that IT should be fired before game time tonight. No one wants him here--it's done

he can be fired based on bad personnel decisions & for making a bad cap situation worse, but this fight isn't even a legitimate excuse.

classic switch after you realize you're reaching for straws with the other comment... come on dude... let it go... there's about 10 million other topics to bash on Isiah, knock yourself out... bashing him for being responsible for this is ridiculous.
