Agreed. Jeffries knew he had to do it and we knew he was gonna get hit by a suspension. He did the right thing.

Well, we don't face Denver anymore this season - so I don't see how Denver's punishment helps or hurt us in any way.

Seems fair to me. You have to set a fair yet firm preceedent if you dont want things repeated. Slaps on the wrist do not work.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I have no problem with any of the punishment.

Good- now it's all done and all the haters predicting an Isiah suspension can eat crow for buying into that nonsense in the first place.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Mardy should have gotten one game, he just committed a flagrant 2 foul, Nate was acting tough and foolish and Smith went back after him. Jeffries was simply reacting to the cheap shot by Melo. I believe that they should have been suspended for 1 game only. Carmelo should have gotten 8 to 10 games and JR should have gotten 5 games. Stern is simply doing his "send a message" thing.

I agree with your call on Marty but you must have miss him running towards the Nuggets bench later...I'm sure he got three games off that alone...

they are a playoff team playing meaningful basketball games and they just lost an elite scorer.

There is nothing but upside for Knicks who now have an excuse another year of .350 basketball.

you're right holfresh, I did miss that. Well what's done is done. Knicks will just have to suck it up, not sure if there will be any appeals. I just hope that out of this ugliness, the team realizes that this is an opportunity to bond and while there is still room to go down, they will choose to go up.
