Breen is bashing the Knicks on ESPN, no surprise. But Walt is bashing them on the radio. That should tell you everything you need to know. If Walt is embarassed, it's really bad.

That means Dolan's gonna fire Breen and Clyde for speaking against the family, and Isiah will get promoted.

Davie Stern is going to make an example of the perps. The punishment will be worse than if the incident had occurred in any other city.

Guys, I don't even know where to start. I think this is an absolute new low for this franchise. We've been mired in years of mediocrity that is now spanning years of garbage and this just put the icing on the cake.

Yeah the Knicks are not fully to blame for this situation, as well as the fact that Isiah had this coming to him because of his battle with Brown(who you can guarantee that George Karl, a fellow UNC guy, kept his starters in the game because of what happened between the Knicks and Larry Brown and to send Isiah Thomas a message), but the fact that we are 9-17, down by 20 at home to the Nuggets and Isiah Thomas still stands the sidelines after his horrid 3 year tenure is a complete joke.

I have no doubt in my mind that Isiah told the whole team into this game to send a message to the Nuggets and tell them what they were doing was wrong by still playing their starters but Isiah has had this coming to him. Isiah has turned this once proud franchise into a complete and utter joke. The only way the Knicks can make headlines anymore is by getting into brawls and not for their play on the court.

Isiah Thomas needs to be fired and he needs to be fired now, I don't know how much more this city can take of the Knicks playing this poorly for this long and I wont even mention the fact that we have no capspace till 2010(crosses fingers) had no lottery pick this year and we're not going to have one this year either. Woops, I guess I just did anyway. Isiah's tenure and the garbage that we as fans have to put up with has gone on too long and it's time for someone else to come in here and get this sinking ship back afloat, because Isiah Thomas is running this proud franchise into the GROUND.

agreed. I like some of the players here, but there's no reason to think it will ever get better under Isiah. this is just embarassing.

I don't think they need to tank. Play DLee, Curry, JJ, Crawford and Q and play hard. ditch Marbury and Isiah.

I think I hid a fifth of whisky in the back yard 12 years ago. I wonder if it's still there?

did not read all the responses, but the heat fight was a much lower point...this actually is nothing because it was all george karl trying to pay back isiah and the knicks for larry brown.

yep...IT'S ALL LARRY BROWN'S FAULT!

lol

I don't get this- so many here pine for the knicks of the 90s and mardy gives a hard masonesque foul to prevent a break away slam and a brawl ensues- the denver player should have just taken his free throws.

the team is bad- but I applaud mardy for wanting to do something to intimadate the opposing team. I wish marbury would show that kind of bravado.

Different era. Mardy's foul was also more than a hard foul, it was a dangerous foul. Smith could've gotten injured. Bottom line is the Knicks were in the wrong to start, and then the Nuggets didn't back down. What it comes down, in the end, is 6-8 players in the wrong (and possibly our coach), and that's no small number.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I agree with you franco...it's tough because everyone hates isiah and marbury and dolan so much...if mardy doesn't hard foul, he's a loser, if he does, he's a loser.

It's almost a mandate that dolan and isiah and marbury leave or the knicks WIN a championship before they will be applauded for anything.

Oh, and start lee. that works too.
