I still support DLee, Qrich, Curry, Frye, Jefferies, Jamal.

crzymdups - how do you separate the players you support from those that you don not support?

what is your criteria?

season over

crzymdups - does that mean you will stop following or supporting the Knicks?

[Edited by - misterearl on 12-17-2006 1:59 PM]

no. it's an observation. I still support DLee, Qrich, Curry, Frye, Jefferies, Jamal.

I'm not so sure about Nate or your PG of the future Mardy the hitman Collins anymore and I'm sick of seeing Isiah's face, but I still support the players on the team. I feel bad that they have to be surrounded by so much selfish unprofessional behavior.
ditto that... thats me in a nutshell. I just hope some of these guys are actually a part of a better future and they can take something from all of this.

why do you think that people who don't support every aspect of the team aren't real fans? it's been six years of crap. most of us are here day in and day out. as this thread points out, some of us only show up 1 game out of 3 to gloat.

I support players who play hard on both ends of the court and have respectable character, which includes Q-Rich, Lee, Frye, & Balkman. That's it. (I haven't seen enough of Jeffries yet to decide.) 5 out of 15 players give respectable effort. No wonder this team is on pace for another 25 win season.

What do you think his is? It's probably that he supports and loves anyone who wears a Knick uniform no matter how awful they are and how terrible their work ethic is.

Bonn - the question was directed at the poster who brought it up

BlueSeats - be my guest. Guess away until you drop

But if you want to talk basketball instead of pre-judging...

How can anyone measure work ethic if you've never attended a practice?

Unless some of you can learn to separate your bias from basketball, too much dialogue will only waste time centering on redundant personal attacks.

What you think my passion or optimism as a Knicks fan is irrelevant

My answer was that I support the players I want to root for, which I guess is vague. So how about players who try their best to win a game, who play defense, who try, who act like professionals.

How do you seperate the ones you root for and the ones you don't? Still rooting for Mardy the hachet man? I don't have anything against him in particular, but I think it's sick that he's basically been made the attack dog for Thomas. He's risking his entire reputation/career for a selfish loser.

Let me ask you - how do you separate the coach/GM you support from those you don't? And, are you telling me that you support every player on the team unconditionally?

that's not the only thing, but it's certainly part of it. I've never bought the notion of haters/lovers. people just have different ideas about what they want the team to do. I've never said anyone here isn't a fan. I think this holier than thou attitude about fandom is idiotic. we're all fans here, no one's fandom is better than anyone else's. it's not a competition. the only competitions are the ones the Knicks seem to lose every night.

just jokes based on the poster and the title of the post, briggs is posting in the game thread as we type.

he gets the joke I hope.

But this post should clear it up.

He's right about one thing, after a win the kool aid flows like crazy.

then we get blown out. (or fight)

Renaldo Balkman had 15 boards while Lee grabbed 20

Has Marbury been playing injured or does he only pick his spots based on his mood?
