Honestly the comeback just ended up pissing me off...

After the first half, i was just depressed and dissapointed.. mad but not furious.. just like godamn how is this team so dumb.

Then when we came back i started getting excited and Marbury turns the ball over and im throwing **** cursing yelling waking up my girlfriend.

So honestly, **** their comeback, im pissed.

Take better shots in the first half!

and back to embarrasing

I'm so glad fans here are proud of a team that falls 20 points behind to a starting line up of ryan Gomes, Al Jefferson, Tony Allen, Telfair and Paul Pierce. That might be the worst team in the NBA.

Proud indeed.

Hey.. at least Eddy the franchise got his 20

jeez fish, i've never known you to be so cynical... giving kudos to Eddy Curry's improvement is well deserved, regardless of how poorly the rest of the team played last night... i have no problem knocking Stephon for his boneheaded pass or his pisspoor perimeter D, i have no problem knocking Isiah for not playing Balkman at all last night, i have no problem for bashing Nate for his ridiculous selfishness in almost collecting a very costly technical when the team was trying to make their comeback run... but to bash Eddy for a 30 & 12 & 2 block effort is pretty ridiculous.

I don't think he was bashing Eddy there. I think he was making a point about how much we suck and how it's hard to be optimistic when we're so awful, despite one player playing well on offense.

sarcastically calling him the franchise who got his 20 kinda sounds like a dig to me... fish is usually more objective when it comes to observations on this team, but lately all i'm hearing from him is negativity... he's even gone on to say that he doesn't care about the progression he's seeing out of Curry because the record is what it is... i don't know what he expected to see out of this team this year, but i'm pretty sure Curry is exceeding anyone's expectations this season... i think he probably deserves some praise rather than ambiguous sarcasm for that, wouldn't you say?

In that context, he was clearly mocking the posters who keep making a big deal out of Eddy Curry, when we have one of the worst teams in the league.

Yes, Eddy is playing well and deserves some credit. No, he hasn't convinced people that he's a franchise player yet. Yes, we suck.

I think that was the jist.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Curry isnt a Franchise center ala Patrick/Shaq etc. They adont come around every day and Curry will never be at their level. But Curry is a legit 20-8 center (only other is Yao) who is a very valuable asset because of his low post scoring
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

& why is the posters making a big deal out of Eddy Curry worthy of ridicule? why is it wrong for people to be encouraged out of the improved play they've been seeing out of Eddy Curry? is the fact that being encouraged about Curry not fitting in with the whole "Isiah got fleeced on the Curry trade" theory have anything to do with that? just curious, because any truly objective observer should be able to give credit where credit is due regardless of their personal feelings for our GM.

I'm not bashing Eddy persay. I will say his development is grossly over inflated. Even more overrated is the impact his great play has on the game. Eddie had 8 points in the first qtr. Obviously that translates to a lofty 36 over the game. However the guy he was guarding (Jefferson) had 8 rebounds, also translating to 36 a game. I wont kill the Knicks for Paul Pierce hitting shots. But I will kill Eddy and everyone else for the terrible defense.

So far since Eddy's "they cant stop me" streak we are 4-6, mostly at home, mostly against BAD teams. Is Eddy's scoring any more impressive than Starbury getting 20/8 over a season? Who cares when the paint is open to all who want to shoot from there. I'm so excited we have the Zach Randolph of centers.

Maybe Eddy turns into something and we can find a way to make that production part of a winning system. Sorry, but I saw NOTHING to be excited about last night. I stopped watching with 2 minutes to go before half time. I watched the score on the game channel while I played games. When we started to make a come back I tuned back in to see if they could pull it off. Just in time to see Marbury throw it into the stands, then get picked off while he was yelling at Q for his turnover. Add in some missed FTs by Eddy and *poof* Knicks lose at home to another crap team.

Eddy has been in the league 6 years. We traded two picks for him and we are paying him $10mm a year. I guess I should be happy we are getting some scoring for that.

I am cynical. Its because Larry stole my joy

I agree exactly Jefferson was beating him to every rebound, Curry should be scoring in bunches because of his skills and size....

I will get very excited when:

1. We produce wins
2. He is kicking it out and we are getting open shots
3. He doesn't get killed by quicker players
4. Doesn't get embarrassed by Yao, and run and hide

He is just picking on smaller players, which is what he should be doing, I will get excited when I see wins; because right now our front court is rebounding as good if not better than anytime in the NBA shooting an extremely high percentage and we are losing to god awful teams.......

We have 8 wins and 2 have come against memphis and one was the result of a miracle shot, which we obviously will take, but unless stats translate to wins they are useless.....

1. Zach
2. Shareef
3. Brand

All put up the numbers but their teams never seem to be there when it matters, and thats not what we need or want from this group, when Curry starts to translate to wins i will get excited

so basically, unless Curry dominates a Shaq or a Yao Ming & it results in a W, you won't ever get excited about his play?... wow, you got some crazy high standards for Eddy Curry at this stage in his development man, let me tell you.

not getting exicted about starbury numbers unless he makes the commitment to really improve himself, which he has done to some respects, his defense is god awful and thats a big reason we suck because when the guards break down our perimeter curry needs to be there......

he needs to lose 15 more pounds to get a little quicker on defense, if he loses the weight i am very excited.....

now you're just nitpicking dude... as long as he's putting up #'s, drawing double teams downlow & creating wide open opportunities for his teammates on the perimeter, what else can you ask for?

putting up 20 & 8 from the low post is a lot different than putting up 20 & 8 from a perimeter G imo... chances are you're getting a much higher percentage shot from a front court player first & foremost, & again, attracting a double team down low will open up everything on the perimeter for the guards.
