meh. KG is not a dominant player in the post on offense and he's slowing down ever so slightly on defense, as is Big Ben. Chicago would still live and die on the offense with the play of their guards.

It just sounds like you guys want to come up with any excuse possible, because you don't want the Bulls to succeed since Isiah got pwned in trades with them, and you guys know we helped them improve.

That being said... can anyone here honestly deny that the Bulls with KG, Ben Wallace, PJ Brown, Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Andres Noicioni, Mike Sweetney and possibly OUR draft pick (depending on which draft pick they'd have to give in a trade) is one of the top teams in the NBA? If you seriously don't think that team is good, and borderline great, I don't know what to say. That's hating; ironically what some accuse posters here of having.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

not hating..that would be hipocracy. I'm sure no one actually would actually think that team would not be good enough

did Isiah get pwned in the Curry trade? Ty Thomas, the "future franchise stud" that he is hasn't shown much of anything so far... maybe we should wait to see what the Bulls get w/that swapped pick & how Eddy Curry progresses this season before we cast a final judgement on that one?

Let's see, if we gave up all that, and they give up less assets to get Kevin Garnett, yes, we severely helped them. As for waiting, we gave up so much that Eddy basically *has* to a franchise stud for that trade to be close to even. Waiting so that Eddy can be heralded for putting up 20 ppg while playing terrible defense? His defense is still bad, and there's no question the Bulls won that trade, even if Eddy turns out good. That's my feeling on the topic.

PJ Brown? Mike Sweetney? Sorry they dont scare anyone. The Bulls have an option to swap draft picks. They cant trade their pick and keep ours. They dont even have ours for sure. If they get ours we get their pick. The Bulls would have to trade 20 mill in salary. Where do you think they get it? Deng and Thomas = 6 mill.

I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

why's that? did we give up anything close to being a franchise stud in the trade in your estimation? Mike Sweetney? he's almost playing himself into the D-Leagues at this point... Ty Thomas? the jury's still out on him but so far doesn't look to be half of what he was hyped up to be... until we see what the Bulls get w/the swap pick, there's really no justification for anyone to say we got pwned on that trade imo, especially w/Curry putting up the #'s he's been putting up lately.
