I love how people on this forum deem when other fans are allowed to boo and cheer. When a team gives up a 17 point lead and its down to the 3, you can damn well expect boos.
Isiah Thomas really sucked all you guys in with this fan garbage. You fell right for it.
Your first and second sentences completely contradict one another. You imply in your first sentence that no one should have a right to tell fans when to boo or cheer, yet in the second sentence you do just that. You "inform" us that if a team does something that you believe justifies booing, then that is when fans are allowed to boo.
I said you can EXPECT boos. In no way did I say if you should or shouldn't boo. You are assuming what my stance would be and that's not fair because you are putting words in my mouth. Me saying EXPECT boos and me saying everyone SHOULD boo are two different things.
Fair enough. I substituted the word allowed for expect, but I'm not sure I understand how there is much of a difference based on the way you phrased your sentences. You said "you can damn well expect boos" which implies that fans are justified in booing given that situation. If they are justified in doing so then you seem to be saying that they are ALLOWED to boo based on the situation you presented.
Never did I write you said fans SHOULD boo, which I know you did not. What you said was just as I wrote it in the above paragraph. Just to repeat you wrote that the players should expect boos if they play badly, which is essentially saying that you consent to booing from fans if certain things happen. Is that not what you are saying?
If so then you are saying that fans are ALLOWED to boo, which is still in direct contradiction to the first sentence of that original post I commented on. Here's the quote again:
