Wow, Isiah is one tough guy. Wait for one of the 2 teams in the NBA that's worse than you are to come to town and act tough.

Aren't most, if not all, of the teams we're playing during this homestand under .500? Why not start with the tough guy act when some good teams are coming to play them? Oh no, I forgot, when those teams came to town, Isiah was busy talking about how they'd be lucky to win any of those home games.

Isiah is an idiot and a transparent one at that.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I'm baffled here....Are you guys really buying this from Zeke??...Is that all it took???...Buying out JRose and MoT for nothing in return didn't raise your eyebrows...Benching Marbs at the end of games didn't get you?..Benching Frye for extended game time didn't get your attention..Not starting Francis didn't garner an about face....Not playing JJ1 and Malik didn't make you think that maybe he is doing something different here...But Zeke saying to reporters that they need to fear me and not fan's boos finally are making look at Zeke the coach....HMMMMMMM....Strange....

I love how you bitch and moan for people to come around and start giving Isiah a chance and finally when they do, you come with this sh!t.

What the are you talking about?, I'll go over everything in the order you list them-

-Buying out Rose and MoT didn't raise anything. It was something that was talked about for a while and something the "other guy"(you know who I mean) wanted done.

-Benching Marbs at the end of games? Marbs was arguably going through the worst stretch in his career, and he didn't deserve to be there. Now if he benched Marbs at the beginning of games, that would be something to look at. But he didn't. He benched Francis who actually was playing half way decent.

-Benching Frye for extended periods of time at the begining of the season because of absolute ineffectiveness. He falls under the Marbury category of BOTH of them were so bad at the time, Zeke had no other alternative but to bench them.

-NOT playing JJ1 and Malik? JJ got some burn when his fat ass wasn't injured. Malik stopped playing when Frye started playing.

If you want to give Zeke a medal for , um, coaching go ahead, that is his job. But he also shielded these players to a fault, insinuating the crowd had something to do with their bad play giving some guys a built in excuse. This is the attitude I want the team to take, not the "oh, no, the crowd doesn't like us what are we going to do" attitude Zeke was peddling to the media before. This is called holding players accountable.

As long as Zeke actually means this, I am behind him.

be consistent in the way you judge coaches joe. Do you really want someone to point out why Isiah as the coach shows signs of improvement? Are you really going to trivialize it by saying "he is coaching" and leave it at that? come on now!

Joe, basically what it comes down to is that you're not allowed to say nice things about Isiah. Don't even bother next time.

basically what it comes down to is that if you don't find something you can agree with, it is automatically a bad argument and you will use extremes like "don't bother next time" to illustrate how you feel. Thats basically what it comes down to.

Silver, you are smart enough to get the point I was making. Every item holfresh put up can be attributed directly to coaching-and I have told you many times I don't mind Isiah as a coach. Marbury and Frye left him absolutley no choice but to bench them. Frye lost time to Malik until he started producing then took more time back.

Silver, Isiah said this team doesn't need a leader. He said he would be the leader. Fine. Roll like that, I'm cool with it. But the last thing I want my coach....ahem....leader to do is point out that we can't control how we play because the crowd is mean.

Isiah was speaking like a wet nurse before, he is speaking like a leader now.

I'm throwing Isiah a frickin bone here and I gotta listen to the same guy who constantly berates me for not throwing him any bones about how "why am I doing this now." It's laughable.

I'm happy my posts spark so much interest for you lately.

Maybe he is waiting for someone to take the leadership role before he publicly announces a leader. I remember going for hours about you not liking his quotes earlier this year. Back then I told you he was just saying it to the media and he is talking a different game to the players. Now he comes out and says he is talking a different game to the players. Why don't you consider the possibility that he might appoint a leader when he thinks a leader is ready!!
But the last thing I want my coach....ahem....leader to do is point out that we can't control how we play because the crowd is mean.
Thats very clever how you did the whole coach, oh no, I mean leader (in a mocking way) to make your point about the crowd being mean. Congratulations at another cheap shot taken successfully.

Dude. Read earlier in the thread and then read Holfresh's response.

My comments had nothing to do with you, I don't know why are you crusading here.

but I responded to you telling joe "not to bother anymore," almost suggesting I am making it tough for him to "say anything nice about Isiah." I'm not supposed to reply to something like that? Wow man, damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Possibly. So Isiah is saying he's the leader but he really isn't? So then if noone steps up this team has no leader?

Sorry if you consider them cheap, but they are there, and I'm gonna take 'em.

Silver, I never said you didn't know how to read. The shot was pointed directly at Anji-he was mentioned by NAME in the body of the post-and it wasn't just reading, it was reading comprehension.
