Just curious for all the pick and roll compaints. did the Raps out score us 56-22 in the paint or did we outscore the Raps 56-22 in the paint?

Hey you sound a lot like that Curry nut rider Bernard King over at realgm.

I would give him in A for moves facing the basket and a C for move with his back to the basket. There were a few times against Toronto where he made an athletic move to the hoop like a smaller man. The problem is he should of been dunking instead of finesing.
He still has to create a defensive presence. Curry doesn't necessarily have to get the blocks, just intimidate enough to have the opposition thinkng about him and the weak side should get the block.

He is the smartest Knicks fan I know so I emulate him well. :)
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Isaiah does have a thing fro improving big men but in Curry's situation, he needs to defend.

His moves around the paint has improved, rebounding is getting better but defending his opponent is pathetic and needs drastic improvement.

All in good time. Its not like the raptors nor detroit feasted in the paint with 22 points each. He also had 2 nice blocks on rip and bosh in the last 2 games. Most teams not only look to their center but their pf to control the paint.

I like Curry and think he is growing! But I do not think we have the type of Power Forward we need to put next to him. If were going to stick with Eddy we have to seriously look at moving Frye and someone for an athletic shot blocking type of forward! A Marcus Camby type a guy.

23.3ppg and 7.7rpg in the last 6 games. Thats what I love to see from EC. Hard to believe he is still just 23 years old.

LOL EC was arguably the best or 2nd best Knick on the floor last night yet they hate fest continues. No player is perfect. No player doesnt make errors or give up points.

Who played better?

Lee?
Nate?
Francis?
Jcraw?
Cato?
Marbury?
Crawford?

Maybe Qrich played better. Maybe. Thats it. So instead of focusing on the other 10 guys or so raising their games it becomes another Curry hate fest. I have news for you. Go read the Raptors board They were extremly impressed with Curry

If ain't Curry, then its Marbury. BTW, dont look now but Sweetney is also streaking, he raised his average a point since last week.

I don't understand statements, like the bolded one. Noone cares we gave up SweetTooth. It's the 2 draft picks people are dying about.

I think he has Isiah's future in his hands. If he can continue to development, I'm not sure that you want to risk entrusting him to a new coach.

I don't understand statements, like the bolded one. Why are some people always ready to ignore anything positive and decide to just die for the negative.

What did I say to bring down Curry? Not a thing. Silver, stop being so hyper-sensitive. In another thread, I already posted that if Curry continues to play like this until Frye comes back, you have to look at dealing Frye and keeping Curry. What else you want people to say? Do we really have to preface anything that might be remotely negative about Curry with some type of compliment so people aren't accused of ignoring the positives?

Curry can be a great offensive center. He is also one of the worst defensive centers out there. I don't care if he averages 30 a game. If his man playing against him averages 29 against him, what good is he? Obviously an exaggeration but the point is still made. If Curry gives back whatever he scores, he is still a problem. He hasn't been all out horrible these past few games plus he is rebounding, not just standing there waiting for the ball to bounce right to him.

All I said was noone minded giving up Sweetney for Curry-an opposition to the origional statement-, people don't believe that giving up 2 draft picks for him was a wise choice. I didn't bring anyone down nor did I criticize anyone's play. I was stating an opinion that had absolutely nothing to do with Curry's recent or past play at all.

I'd like Curry to keep up the good play so we can trade his butt out of here.

How can you say that those picks are irrelevant? That draft pick last year and this years pick this year could be absolutely HUGE.

Oh Christ, All I said was people weren't as upset about giving up Sweetney as about giving up the picks. I'm not looking to get into any type of debate over the intracicies of the trade.

The guy said laid a crack about how crappy Sweetney is doing and I just said that it wasn't that we gave up Sweetney it was the picks that upset people. How is this so hard to understand? I'm not arguing whether we should have made it or not or who we should have sent instead of who. All I said was the draft picks were bigger than Sweetney to most people.
