Now way is he a better player than Patrick, Shaq and David were in college. I remember Shaq in HS here at Cole and he was 10 times the player Oden is now in college
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I watched him against Florida and I wasn't impressed either.

Greg Oden is going to be an NBA monster. The only bad thing about oden is he looks 50 years old.

As long as he doesn't play like he's 50 years old.......

Oden is the best center prospect I have seen in the last 20 years. He will be better than Ewing.

Doesnt this get old after a while? Every prospect is the next Jesus according to Briggs. Reminds me of those greasy sports agents in full Don King hype mode. Calm down.

Briggs just blew his load.

All this Olden crap is just to get a rise out of all the Isiah supporters !! At the end of the day, Olden couldn't hold Curry's jock if it was gift wrapped and tucked under his pillow !!!
GOD arose JESUS from the grave !!! Isiah arose the Knicks from their grave !!!

All I know is they got destroyed by Florida a few weeks ago. Let's not anoint him yet. He ain't Bill Walton at UCLA.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

How destroyed did he get? He blocked 5 shots in that game against Florida, which was this past weekend by the way, recorded 7 points and 7 rebounds as well. A great game? No, certainly not, but just because he didn't score 20 points doesn't mean his impact wasn't felt. He controlled the paint before he got into foul trouble.

Remember this too fellas, Greg Oden is a righty and he's not even shooting with his right hand yet! The wrist is still not 100% and he's been taking all of his shots with his left hand so far this year.

So please all of you, get your facts straight.

he's only taking his foul shots w/his left. and 7pts 7rbs is not much to write home about. while i agree he will be a hell of a player at the next level, it will take him a while to start dominating games. (some games)

He can basically only dunk with his right hand, he still can't flex and put enough effort on his right wrist when he shoots the ball. That basically takes everything out of the equation aside from dunking.

so how can one make the assumption that he's going to come in and dominate the league? based on how many dunks he gets? i'm not denying he's gonna be a sick player, he will be. but come in and dominate as a rookie seems a bit far fetched. never mind be as good or beter than shaq, patrick, hakeem...
