salary has to be taken into account - that goes without saying.

all a max salary means is that a minimum one person valued them that high. being underrated in general is probably related in most cases but they're not the same thing.

Masterplan, you are delusional. If a guy is getting paid megabucks then he's supposed to be one of the top players in the league.

Underrated means: better than what many people think.

Why does that mean Masterplan is delusional, I agree with what he said. Just because Johnson is getting paid big bucks doesn't mean he's NOT underated. I don't see him being voted to any all-star teams, or being spoken as a top-player in the game. One person thought he was worth that and gave him that contract.

Bonn, good call, but don't think he'll stay underrated.

I will take Solace's side and pick Marcus Camby. Could be a defensive player of the year, and without him, Denver is a lotto team. I'm pretty sure that while he makes a good amount, it's still not max money. He always seems to be under the radar, I guess b/c of his injuries.

yes; key phrase, MANY people. lots of big contracts leave MANY people scratching their heads.

it is less likely a max player will be underrated, but IM delusional O its possible.
