>>The Curry trade was a joke.. he let Pax go brokeback on him. Regardless of how good Curry is or isnt, it doesnt change the fact that the trade was terrible. Isiah gave up two unprotected first rounders for a guy everyone knew wasnt going back to the Bulls

fis.mike - Why not hold your water a bit longer and evaluate the Curry trade in five years when Eddy Curry is in his prime at the ripe old age of 28?

Pissing all over Eddy seems to be a favorite pastime, even when he does well...

sup with that?

These fake Knick fans would rather be right than see the Knicks succeed. That's all.

It was proven on that thread where posters were saying that they want to see the Knicks fail just to so I.Thomas would get fired and Marbury traded. smh

you don't give a guy $10 mil per year so you can see what you get 5 years down the road.

Thomas gave a strong indication that even when Jared Jeffries returns, Richardson will stay in the starting lineup at shooting guard with either Steve Francis or Stephon Marbury (13 points, 5 assists) heading to the bench. Thomas' edict of this being Curry's team has, Thomas admitted, created waves among the perimeter players, notably Marbury.

That's what I'm hoping for.

PG Marbury
SG Richardson
SF Jeffries
PF Lee
C Curry

Can't wait 'til next year when the scrubs here start jumping on the great Curry trade bandwagon...It's gonna be a sight to see in this forum...

I'm still waiting for you to own up to your Orlando Magic remarks as well the Pacers starting lineup remarks, ever since then you haven't been around much.

So your not around when the Knicks are losing but when they are winning you will be around? Theres a man who knows how to pick his fights.

Loved the Richardson trade when it happened and still loving it now.

Easily his best deal (although thats not saying much).

"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

In light of the fact that Q is turning out to be a great aquisition. Does it make sense we signed Jared Jeffries to that 5 year /$30 mill deal?
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Nate will be able to play more minutes if Q shirts over to the 2 and Jeffries is at the 3. We won't have size issues as much bringing him in to the game for long stretches.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

hahahah..well it's not because I'm hiding from you I can promise you that..But to be honest..it tough getting a reading on the team so early in the season to be passionate one way or the other..the team is improving in that one day they play well and the next they stink...They seem to be getting to the point where they know what they want to do consistently...As for Orland, the east stink right now but they are playing well..They will go as far as Grant Hill will take them...And as for the Pacer's lineup you were right, but seems like that didn't last too long either as Foster is back in the starting lineup and Granger back coming off the bench...

Let's just hope for some victories, can we agree on that?

Francis should start over Marbury and if Zeke is truly a man of his word (which is a questionable notion at best), he'll start Francis, who I'm surprised to say, may have finally grown up.

you know what I think. I think Thomas told Francis that if he wants to get traded he needs to keep his mouth out of the papers...which is why we aren't hearing anything about him

my opinion

Isiah builds contenders
lol... is that a joke or are u serious?

the KT trade was a stroke of brilliance... i always thought 1 of Isiah's biggest mistakes was signing him to an extension to begin with instead of trading his expiring contract for something better, but he was able to parlay KT into a player i always wanted on this team in Q, AND get a 1st round pick in the process... people ragged on the deal because of Q's persistent back problem, & rightfully so, but i thought it was a risk well worth taking... now Q is probably 1 of the most liked & respected Knick on this board... i usually feel that keeping an open mind on a trade or draft pick until i see how it plays out is the better way to go.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
