would ... could .... you live with mardy collins growing pains if he played solid defense and hit the open man?

If Curry hadn't had a decent offensive game this thread wouldn't exist. The team actually quit with about a little over 6min to go by playing the most insanely idiotic basketball from that point on. Nate and Crawford looked lost, Jerome James uhhhhh psssssssssst, Lee looked like he was going to pass out. Franics had an even kill game, Balkman proves he fills a need and Curry had his 1 of every 5 or 6 good games.

The FRAUD will be waived in 2weeks!

You can waive the Team President/GM/Head Coach?

actually curry intimidated a lot of shots tonight, I don't know what DJ was watching...... lee and balkman looked good, if balk can hit that jumper consistently he will be a hell of a player in this league...

Francis is playing well, and spirited... Marbury can't feed the post, doesn't know when to go with the hot hand, unless it is his own, and he can't run a team.....

too many times the lane opened up like the red sea. eddy played 39 mins and no blocks. he was the tallest guy out there.

He got ripped off because I saw him block a heinrich shot and get the rebound. PJ brown is just as tall. Since when is height everything. Nate blocked yao ming. why dont you just give the guy a break for 1 night. He has been working hard to become a factor the last week.

Isiah drafted him for a reason

question is... how soon will we be able to see him demonstrate what skill-set he brings to the party when the minutes actually mean something?

Collins

Francis

Balkman

Lee

time to start upping his minutes to have a look. but until marbury is dumped, and/or we go into a real rebuild, it's really tough throwing a rookie into this pressure cooker.

Curry was a man against Wallace down low. When the 4 time DPOY needs double help play after play against our center than we have a real weapon! When was the last time we had a player score 20 plus 3 games in a row?

Isiahs 3-4-5 guard lineups continue to be a negative. I wish he would stop already. They havent worked all year.

I agree with you about the gaurd rotation but hey what can you expect when the team 100,000 gaurds on the team

I 100% disagree in regards to the Curry ball washing you constantly do.

Uhhhhh Crawford is miserably streay but in a 4gm span he scored 19pts, 37pts, 25pts, and 19pts.

Curry had a good game offensively LODY FREAKIN DO, he supposed to Benard. Did you know with him being the 1rst 2nd, 3rd, and 4rth option on this team that today is the first game all season he's led the team in scoring? Did you know 25% of the time, so far this season he's scored in the single digits? Did you know he's only posted double digit rebounding 3 times this season? Did you know he only has 8 total ast on the season? Did you know he only has 5 total blocks on the season?

At this point most people are ready to say good bye to Marbury. Starting Collins would be going to far. It would be nice to see a clear PG situation, with Mardy having a shot at the backup role.

also, it's hard to look for the open man when the only shooter on the floor is Francis, and he's just barely a shooter. gimme Jamal at the point. he deserves a shot to start before the season is completely lost.

well i think we can agree on anyone but marbury. but between nate, francis and jamal it seems to be something of a toss up. I don't think of any of them as long term solutions. but if jamal gets the start tomorrow i'll be rooting for him.

I like the WAY the team played overall, but we just ran out of gas as others have said. When you're dead tired from chasing the Bulls around all game, you don't think as clearly or perform at your best. If we had gotten good games from Jamal and Nate that might have helped. Also if we had shot better from the Line. We had too many TO's as well.

What struck me was that with Lee and Balkman in the SL, you lose that punch off the bench we usually have. I'm not so upset that we lost, since the team seemed to be playing hard until about 6 mins left in the 4th. It just looked like they had nothing left.

In terms of the PG situation, I can't use this game as an example of us not having a PG who can run the show late in games. With Steph and Francis playing long and hard trying to keep up with the Guards on the Bulls, that's a tough assignment. Nate has to improve his defense, cuz for a guy as quick as he is, he really doesn't defend as well as he should.

I get the feeling you've reassessed your 47+ win assessment for the team and will be satisfied if we end up with just 23 moral victories.

and who's fault is that?

here's the minutes breakdown

bulls: 38, 36, 34, 33, 28, 27, 19, 11
knicks: 42, 40, 39, 35, 30, 23, 10, 10

are we really going to be using minutes as excuses?

The Knicks had Sunday and Monday and off to rest up for this game. Running out of gas should not happen, especially this early in the season.

I didnt say it was an excuse but you asked why we ran out of gas. I told you why. Yes missing 2 starters does change the rotation. Nate should have played more. Isiah blew that

uh, we were missing two starters and the guys who played a lot of minutes for us don't normally. seriously, there are things to be mad about this game, I don't think running out of gas is one of them.
