We are going to miss Frye. He was really starting to play well on offense and defense. He still has a way to go, but he was definitely playing better than at the start of the season and he and Lee play decent defense together. The good thing is that Balkman should get 25+ minutes a game until Jeffries comes back. We will see what he can do. Balkman and Lee should create havoc for opposing teams.

who's backing up Balkman at the 3 while Q is out i'm wondering? he didn't look good at the end of tonight's game. i think he may miss a few games too. how about bringing Qyntel Woods back?

this could be a blessing in disguise for the knicks... The Q injury hurts but hopefully if Lee starts and plays as well as i know he is gunna play - Frye will have to come off the bench when he comes back... or he should replace CURRY which would be the bes tmove

We're in trouble now. Without Frye, we're very small up front. We'll probably be sliding over a SF, like Balkman, to PF at times, and we're going to have issues. I wasn't the biggest Frye fan, but I do see a gaping hole there with him out. The rest of our C/PFs are Eddy Curry, Cato, Cookies and Malik Rose. Hmmm...
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

^ However, my above post shouldn't be taken as an auto-excuse why we should lose. Apologists need not use the excuse because we still suck with Frye, we're just even worse without him.

Larry Brown had to deal with numberous injuries last year to his best player (Marbury) and Frye for extended periods. Nobody in the Knicks organization, meaning Isiah and Dolan, let him use that as an excuse so there's no reason to make excuses now for these injuries.

But I know Isiah will be talking nonstop about how unfair it is that they aren't "whole" and that you can't judge them until they are.

Really sucks to see Frye go down for that long because we need him to play and get better.

However, could definitely be a blessing in disguise (as Elite said) now that Lee will get major minutes. Lee and Curry seem to be a much better fit so hopefully we play better. Of course, this also means more minutes for Big Game James.

This is horrible news. I like Lee, but giving him 30 plus minutes a night in a starters role might expose him a little.

I expect a few things from Isiah now. Expect some four guard line ups and watch for James and Curry getting more minutes on the floor together

Lee's going to pass out and throw up with 2 minutes to go in the first as everyone on the team decides with him the line up they dont need to rebound, defend or hustle. Oh wait.. those things dont happen anyway
