Hey Rich

Why did Zeke panic after 1 game if he wasn't willing to except at least more than a 1 game result from his decision? Wouldn't that suggest that the decision should have never been made in the first place?

In any event, the Francis trade was stupid. The issue then is whether it was Isiah's decision, or is Francis's continued presence on the team Larry's gift that keeps on giving.

Sorry this wouldn't fly in a courtroom because that's why there is a position called COACH and another called GM.

If Zeke had the ultimate conficence in Starbury as he has showed over the yrs to fully support him than any suggestion Larry makes concerning a backcourt clone would have been futile.

Remember it was Crawford who was on his way to being traded so obviously Zeke was pining to replace him. Orlando just came with a good offer in terms of assets to be exchanged, where Zeke wasn't wise enough to turn it down

I'm not sure what cause of action you have in mind, but one doesn't have to have Warren Buffet's business sense to know that if you have invested $50 million in a supposed HoF coach, it's not unreasonable for a GM to want to accomodate him by getting the players he wants, when feasible, at least until it becomes clear that the coach is breaching his contract and trying to undermine your authority.

See above paragraph.

That Larry turned out to be a disaster here, doesn't excuse Isiah's incompetence. Consequently, I won't try to defend it.

I would have no problem firing Isiah, but I don't want Mills making the choice for his successor, and I would like to know that the person chosen has: integrity (i.e., no Larry Brown types), a proven track record, and that he won't have his hands tied by Dolan.

Of course, if Francis can’t help the Knicks as a starter or a bench player, how exactly can he help them?

Why not try another experiment: Start Francis and bench Marbury?

This picture makes me laugh a little bit more, everytime I see it. The sad part is it's true.

Steve hasn't been able to run any team in his career.

Another starting lineup change, huh?
