They were forced into it after Jordan left, but now they have a nice young team that will contend (despite a, surprisingly, poor start). That being said rebuilding doesn't guarantee success. The Bulls made a few bad trades along the way that really slowed them down (Artest, Miller, Mercer for Rose, Best... ugh). However, settling for mediocrity has to be unacceptable, ala today's Knicks. Being this poor with this kind of payroll, has a very murky future. Rebuilding in the NBA is a long process, but not approaching it head on, or making mistakes along the way, makes the process even longer.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Curry and Steph should have never been knicks. This is why we are stuck , nobody wants them for the money they are being paid.

I can see eddy making JJ MONEY AND BEING A BACKUP SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Isiah see's him as a dominate force and this is where the problem lay.

I wonder if zeke would have traded for curry and steph if he was the owner of the team spending his own money.

I think there is a market for Curry. Even if he is what he is whats that?? Put him next to a rough PF and I think he's got a lot of value to a lot of teams. We just dont have the personel for him to succeed. He would be a good fit next to Sheldon Williams in Atl for one. There's options. Dallas is a very SMART franchise and they gave Dampier like $80mm. Curry is better

Another team will be willing to pay Eddy's salary, but certainly no one would give up the draft picks we did.

Dallas gave dampier that kind of money $80 mil ?
