you dont have to look at that. Focus then on Lee vs. Frye's #s against opposing PFs.

PFs vs. Lee are shooting 0.472 EFG%
PFs vs. Frye are shooting 0.667 EFG%
PFs vs. Jefferies are shooting 0.485 EFG%
Now you tell me.. which player do you want guarding opposing PFs?

How do you look at this and say you still want Frye guarding PFs? He's terrible at it. Meanwhile JJ/Lee between this year and last are guarding PFs as well as anyone in the league.

If you were a coach I would say bad job because your not putting players who have proven to excell in paticular areas in a position to suceed.

Forget about this data and go by what I see... Frye gets abused at PF on a night in and night out basis, while Isiah keeps running him out there. Bad job

The data is compelling...I say let's try running Lee against starting PF's every night and see how he does. I think his defense will suffer...but the things he can do well, he can do aginst anybody.

Lee has earned the right to do so. Sadly it will most likely be at the expense of Frye because of Isiah politics. You just dont bench a once in a generation player like Curry.

Excellent post fish. last night my 14 year old son was watching the game with me, and frye made this nice bank shot off the glass off a pick and roll, even kenny smith was commenting how hard of a shot that was, and my son said "Dad, why don't the knicks play frye at center and lee at PF?" I said" "Son, it is because frye may be a little light to play centers, for example, look at the hard time he would have guarding yao tonight".. My son then responded " dad, look at the job yao is doing on curry". I said good point son... GAme, set, match on that one.. LOL..

I think a line up of, frye, lee, jared jeffries, steph and Q would be a good starting 5. then you bring in craw, nate, balkman and james off the bench, and you have a nice rotation.. I say, try and move curry and francis for expirings and draft picks....

Like I wrote above, Emmanuel Lewis guards the center spot better than Curry, so I would definitely play Frye over him there or at any other position. Overall, I would prefer to see a "true" center playing next to Frye such as James. Curry really does not have a position on offense as he has never developed a game!

thanks.... But the problem with jerome james is that he is as fat and as lazy as curry... And how many true centers are there in the league...

Frye is playing much better and rebounding and block shots is really helping the team. I wish they play Lee and Frye together and see what they can do.
